In answer to the lies of GK, read it and weep:

GG: Shouldn't I also warn you that you are misunderstanding John 6? And Matt 16? Doesn't your misunderstanding make Jesus a liar? If Christ founded a Church that St Ignatius called "Catholic" in 110 A.D., and if Jesus was right that the "gates of Hell would not prevail against it", and suppose he really "did not leave us orphaned", and if the H.S. really came to "lead us in all truth", then was it really wise to rebel against that Church 1500 years later, overturn her Authority and drop some of the inspired scriptures? Isn't your Gospel the 'false Gospel' that St Paul spoke of. Maybe you should be fearing hell, not me! PreacherJonD: If I am being lied to, why won't God give me a "Damascus Moment" and show me the truth? Could it me that you believe that I was created for destruction...by a loving God? If I am being lied to, as you say you were, where is my sin? I am acting in good faith. I alway pray that God show me his actual truth regardless of denomination. Do you pray the same way? |
