Great Sermon Thank you for the sermon. At one point point in the sermon you said "this is what the Calvenists have a problem with". Could you please expand on that. Thank you.
Thank You! Great Sermon! One of the best moments for me: "You have there a gap in the Bible" (...) "Othervise the Bible would need to be 10, 50 or 20 thousand pages!".
Teaching what tha Bible says is one thing but teaching how to learn / read from it what it says is a different thing and something like giving others a rod not "only" the fish.
Thank you!
Great Sermon! Listened twice and the second time actually compared KJV to 3 other (Polish) bibles. None, even the 2 Textus Receptus based (Biblia Gdańska) are identical to KJV, but they have came close. Exceptions: Calvary, Acts 15, I Cor. 15. The modern one (Warsaw Bible) is not so much different as the NIV, but close. E.g. Mat 7, I John 4 is like in the KJV.
Esteves: Listen the audio before commenting Comment Text: No where in the BIBLE does it every say that we must fight for GOD ..the BIBLE says that GOD will FiGHT for the people and go before them to deliver them and SAVE them.
The Bible says that Jonathan and his armourbearer FOUGHT with the enemy alone without the armies of Israel. Of course, we don't have to fight for God but God calls us soldiers because we are to FIGHT.

James and Faith Response By gross misinterpretation, I think you would be inferring that the follow:
I know many people teach that the early writers in the Church (James, Peter, John, etc.) were teaching that works was involved in salvation. In fact, that is what I was taught but scripture does not contradict scripture so if we leave every scripture in its intended context, we will arrive at the right conclusions. James does not teach that salvation comes through faith and works.
For instance, Peter said he read Paul's epistles and was writing to the same group...did he preach another gospel in his writings (an accursed thing for sure)?
2 Peter 3:15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you; 16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
Great Sermon! Great message Bro. Doug! Interesting teaching on "he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way." (2 Thess.2:7) I was always taught that it was the restraining power of the Holy Spirit indwelling the Church age saints---and he is "taken out of the way" when the Church is raptured before the 70th week of Daniel begins. Would never have figured out that this restrainer could be Michael the Archangel!
Thank you for the great message....will be sharing it.
God bless,
Linda Robey
Great Sermon! Romans 4:2 For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.
Galatians 2:16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
You mentioned the verses from James but it that justification were salvific, it would contradict this passage:
Acts 13:39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
Abraham never offered Isaac so anyone saying that Abraham's offering of Isaac justified him would need to produce the sacrifice. What was behind the willingness to offer? FAITH, FAITH, FAITH!!!!
Abraham believed by faith in the resurrection (according to Jesus).
John 8:56 Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.
Great Sermon! Those not assembling are certainly not scriptural:
Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Great Sermon! Suffering tribulation today, tomorrow or in the past has absolutely nothing to do with the timing of the Rapture. Men will wax worse and worse and Christians will suffer more as the Day of Christ approaches. 2 Timothy 3:13 But evil men and seducers shall WAX WORSE AND WORSE, deceiving, and being deceived. The pre-tribulation rapture is not an escapist teaching. It simply points out that Daniel's 70th Week is not for the Church; it is for the nation of Israel. Sorry you were so offended by the title but the message speaks the truth in love. A "hoax" is a malicious deception. Getting people's eyes off of the coming of Jesus to looking for the Mark, the Beast, the anti-Christ, 144,000, the Two Witnesses is wicked, deceptive and a hoax. Sorry, but I am sure that all the men you mentioned would consider what I have said as a hoax too.
