No compassion. The tragedy of wishing to win an argument, without manifesting compassion. Of being proud with our doctrine, without compassion and love.
No compassion. Fundamental assumption of Eliphaz, that the suffering of Job is because of his sin is wrong. So the cases he develop. He is without compassion, wants to win an argument, he is not a useful counselor.
Great comfort. Profound and comforting message. There is a place in the Christian life for spiritual desertion, but this do not mean that God's love for us ceases. Causes, impact and remedy of spiritual desertion. Excellent biblical argumentation, very useful the quotations from the Puritans. I never heard before a message like this on this subject, I really needed it. Thank you!
Profound. Very profound message. There is a place for this kind of depression in the Christian life. Excellent argumentation from the Bible, from example of other men in the Bible, in the history of the Church. And the end for which God chooses to allow such experiences in the lives of His people.
Excellent! Excellent insights into the depression of Job, the causes of his state. Yes, there is a place for experiences like this in the Christian life. It is not a superficial treatment of this text. Very useful also the solutions for this problem.
Great Comfort in Great Trials - 5 stars This is a 35 part series. It doesn't
always show up as a series when toggled,
so here's a tiny URL: http://tinyurl.com/mkakqz
If you are having great trials in your
life, whether physical, mental, or
spiritual, if you are in pain and think
God has abandoned you, this series is
your lifeline from God. Going through
physical woes and depression, this series gave me great comfort and understanding and hope where there was only calamity, confusion and discouragement. The pastor 'goes behind the scenes' to show you why you are struggling so mightily and the spiritual forces behind the struggle, and why you must not give up or give in and walk by faith and not by sight.
Jesus IS with you in all your trials.
Compiled and delivered by pastor who has experienced his own depths of despair. 5 stars.
Must Listen - Entire Series You can't miss this. This is the inaugural audio of an 18
part series on the Doctrine of Justification. Pastor Rich starts
slowly over the first few tracks, painting the general background, then
track-by-track, he examines Justification from many angles and aspects, adding objects to the portrait as he goes. It gets better and better as
each new detail is introduced. I'm on track 14 of 18 and the series is still rising toward climax. If I can
listen to a series this long, it's
got to be good. I can hardly wait to get to his series on Job, one of my fav books. Thumbs up.
Great Sermon! GOD'S power is our protection when we get right with HIM, not even satan can stop our deliverance when guided by GOD. HE can deliver us from all that binds us when we pray, we cannot free ourselves but by GOD'S devine intervention. Thank you. GOD BLESS!
Great Sermon! All truths here!! When sermons like this touch my heart I can't help commenting:too much modernism has corrupted true worship, many churches today are caught up into an entertainment centre rather than preaching on the atonement and singing from the hymn book taking care not to offend anyone worshipping the creature rather the Creator. I quiver with shame,no one has time to listen to weaklings or you might be accused of causing division in the church. Thank you for this truthful message. I love pastors that speak the truth no matter what the outcome might be. Cindy
