Re-learning how to Undress Now we are moving on to the second great benefit that we receive from Christ: our sanctification: that internal process where God's Spirit changes our character and makes us to look like our older brother Jesus. We are moving from God's saving us from the penalty of sin, to saving us from the presence of our sin, from what God has done for us to what he is doing in us. Sanctification is a great paradox. The more holy you become the more you feel the weight of your sin. It hurts like anything, and is only bearable because it feels so good. 1.
