You get it Among many comforting things said in the sermon the one that I find most true is that Christians dealing with mental illness do not CHOOSE it. Yes and amen and thank you pastor for your words.
Great Sermon! Truthfully, I am mad at many Christians in my church. Evangelicalism is killing America and they refuse to see it. I don’t expect the non believer to understand much when believers can’t even have a conversation in the church about issues stopping the great commission.
Just saying!!! I think Jeremiah and Ezekiel were also mad at the religious order of the day.
Great Sermon! Thank you for this sermon, oh hallelujah.. by the time you got to the end, I was worshipping my Lord in all His beauty and splendour. We shall see Him!!
Great Sermon! Thank you for that sermon. I wish more pastors had this insight. I avoided churches for years because too many people have the idea that because of my social phobias and depression I must be guilty of sin or not really saved saying something like, Jesus is all you need. If you are struggling you need to confess and repent.
Mental illness is perhaps one of the most misunderstandings in church teaching. I feel you handled it with love and understanding.
Thank you!
Great Sermon! Thank you for this sermon. It's done lovingly and with understanding. It is hard to be understood as a Christian with ongoing depression, and you do understand the effects depression has on sufferers. My heart was lightened while listening and I do feel like there is hope again. Thanks and God bless you.
To Marcus Thank you so much. I would love to help you find a great church where you can continue to explore the depths of Gods love. Email me: revrickydean@gmail.com
Thank You Words can't express what I'm about to say-- but, thank you. As a 20 year old guy who struggles with homosexuality, this has given so much comfort to me, and brought me a peace I never thought I would have. You get it. You hit the nail on the head. I only wish every church understood homosexuality the way you do. I've listened to all your sermons since this one. There's so much comfort in the way you preach, and I thank you for that. I'm about to tear up. I never realized how loved I am, just the way I am, until I came across your sermons. I truly wish I had a friend as understanding as you. Just, thank you.
Thank you Thank you for this sermon. The Lord is teaching me a lot through your preaching. I have never heard Matthew 13 preached in this way before.
Outstanding Sermon! This is an outstanding examination and analysis of the meaning of evil in our world. Looking at the various ways to see why evil exists and how it is involved with God is filled with things I had never connected. This message has definitely given me understanding of evil in our world. This is an exceptional message we all should hear, especially in our depraved and corrupt world.
Powerful Sermon! Without the Resurrection of Jesus Christ, what do we have? This event should be preached regularly in our churches because that is what our salvation is built upon. The Resurrection is the Truth of our salvation and more sermons should presented above other topics. We should be challenged to view and accept this blessing daily.
