IV. Those who are graciously justified are also thoroughly converted (vv. 5, 6). The changed life does not affect our justification. Our changed lives by our conversion do not play any meritorious role in our Justification, they give evidence of it but it is not a means unto it. However much or little you are changed (you have to be changed somewhat) it does not affect your justification. Justification does not grow, diminish, increase or decrease according to the changes affected in us. It is a declaration. Justification is always perfect and complete! V. Justification entitles us to eternal life (v. 7). Sinful men cannot enter heaven. Those justified, declared righteous and innocent by God's grace can be sure of receiving eternal life when they die! VI. Justification is profitable and fruitful (v. 8).
