How great is our God! Pastor Don, This sermon deeply convicted and motivated me in the faith and service of Christ 5 years ago, almost to the day! I remember so clearly first hearing it back in October 2008, just one month after my mother left this earth and went to be with the LORD Jesus Christ. That event and this sermon, together, were tokens from Him, used by Him to move me resolutely into a larger place in my spiritual journey to the Celestial City.
Now today, after all these years, I find that your admonitions to surrender and to trust Him are still so fresh, so needful, and still the best medicine for my soul. The enormous, glorious subject of His care for us and our need to continually surrender...ah...this seems to be the delightful theme that colors all my life and all my days. Bright colors and dark, together, will make a lovely portrait when finally completed by Him, by grace!
