Christianity is being criminalized in the West because of Christianity's great crime against Christ, His Great Commission, and a world full of perishing sinners. Most professing Christians act as if Biblical evangelism (the evangelism Jesus and the Apostles commanded and modeled on the pages of the New Testament) is already illegal in the Western world — and they're glad! You'll find them first in line to passionately condemn true Biblical evangelism as a hate crime and true evangelists as hateful criminals. Today’s anti-evangelism Christians would've condemned the Lord Jesus Himself as a "hate preacher" when the murderous crowd attempted to throw Him off a cliff outside of Nazareth for the unpopular truth He dared to preach without first laboring to convince the crowd how much he cared. They would’ve stood at the foot of the cross wagging their heads, saying, “We tried to tell Him that they don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care!” as the world mocked and spit on the King of kings — and He suffered, bled out, and died. They would've rushed up to the Apostle Paul in the Athenian Square, interrupted his preaching of God's command to all men to repent of their sin and flee to the resurrected Christ to escape the coming judgment, told the crowd not to listen to Paul's hateful misrepresentation of Christianity, and then authoritatively rebuked Paul with the mantra of today's anti-evangelism Christianity, "YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG!" It's no wonder Christianity and the Biblical worldview are fading from the earth and abominable evil is on the rise in every form, on every front, by every measure.

Wake up Church! Woke, social justice warrior, Critical Race Theory, anti-Bible, anti-Law, anti-Gospel, anti-Christ Christianity won’t do. Politically active, politically conservative, non-evangelistic, pseudo-evangelical Christianity won’t do. Criminally apathetic, anti-evangelism, anti-Great-Commission, “Don’t go therefore!” otherwise orthodox Christianity won't do. Safe, silent, secret agent Christianity won't do. Quiet, cautious, carefully nuanced, non-offensive, “Don’t turn the world upside down!” otherwise orthodox Christianity won't do. Pretenders pretending to obey the Great Commission won't do.

We need the King’s men. We need Kingdom advancing Gospel warriors. We need Biblical pastors, evangelists, and churches that obey the Great Commission like the Apostles obeyed the Great Commission — filling their cities with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and turning the world upside down (Acts 5:28; 17:6). Is that not how our King is to be glorified?! Is that not the goal?! By what supposed authority or wisdom have we abandoned the Lord’s means for achieving the Lord’s goal?! We need Biblical pastors who obey Jesus, die to self, take up the cross, stand up for Jesus, and actually "GO THEREFORE!" and preach His Law and Gospel in today's Athenian Squares: in the open air, on the street corner, on the college campus, at the riverfront, at the abortion clinic, in the city square, on the World Wide Web, on social media, and anywhere and everywhere else perishing sinners are found. Nothing else will do. Nothing else is worthy of the glory of our King’s incarnation, suffering, bloody death, burial, and resurrection on our behalf. Nothing else is obedience to our King’s Great Commission command to “Go therefore!” (Matt. 28:18). Nothing else is obedience to the two highest commandments and summation of all of God’s Law: “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind…You shall love your neighbor as yourself” (Matt 22:37-39). Nothing else will win us this commendation from our Master at the end of our short lives: “Well done, good and faithful servant…enter into the joy of your Lord” (Matt. 25:23).

Multitudes of sinners of every color and creed are perishing all around us. Christianity's Gospel, Biblical worldview, and righteous influence are fading from the earth. The Western world — built on the foundation of Christ, His Law, His Gospel, His Church, and the Biblical worldview — is dying and freedom is dying with it. Christianity is in real danger of being outlawed in the West. The handwriting is on the wall. The era of be safe Christianity, no cost Christianity, compromised Christianity, get your best life now Christianity, maintain the good opinion of your God-hating neighbors at all costs Christianity, anti-evangelistic Christianity, anti-Great-Commission Christianity, peace where there is no peace Christianity, self-loving Christianity, self-fulfilling Christianity, self-esteem building Christianity, self-help Christianity, psychologized Christianity, lisping Christianity, effeminate Christianity, pathetic Christianity, cowardly Christianity, and “Don’t go therefore!” Christianity is over. The Devil and the savage world system that dutifully serves him are eating this sissified and stammering perversion of Christianity’s ethically sourced, soy-based, vegan, gluten-free lunch daily! The era of safe, mild-mannered, winsome, polished, popular, and professional pulpiteers is over. The Devil is devouring them, their sugarcoated messages, and their super-sweetened saints daily. Christ didn’t come into the world as our Chief Dietitian of ethically sourced soy products to create soy boys. Christ didn’t come into the world as our Chief Confectioner to create sweeties. Christ is our conquering King and Captain of war. Do you know this Christ? Do you know the Christ who said:

"Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword. For I have come to 'set a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law'; and 'a man's enemies will be those of his own household.' He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for My sake will find it.”-Matthew 10:34-39

This Christ, the conquering King, the warring Captain — the only Christ there is — came into the world to raise the dead and create an army of risen and redeemed Gospel soldiers who are equipped with the full armor of God, who take up the Sword of the Spirit, and who march to war against doctrines of demons (Islam, Catholicism, Mormonism, atheism, etc.) to rescue perishing sinners wherever they’re found. Christ's command has always been to die to self, preach Christ everywhere, and die if necessary. That’s what soldiers and armies do. They eat meat. They consume the Word. They consciously train for the war they know to be raging all around them. They labor to sharpen their understanding of how to unsheathe and wield the Sword of the Spirit in battle. They pray for strength, courage, and victory in battle. They put on the full armor of God for battle. They stand up and go to battle. They fight a good fight for love of King and perishing sinners. They get bloody for love of King and perishing sinners. They do it all knowing there will be suffering and death — because that’s what love of King and perishing sinners requires. They war on until death with the certain knowledge that there’s nothing else worth living, suffering, and dying for. When their own blood blurs their vision on the field of battle, when they grow weary in flesh, when their heart feels faint — they are rallied by the Apostle Paul’s battle cry, “For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain!” and by the grace and strength of Almighty God, they press on in the fight to the end (Phil. 1:21).

Today's peacetime Church must come to know what the first-century wartime Church knew. It’s not peacetime! It’s wartime! It's time to die to self, preach Christ everywhere, and die if necessary…or the Church will continue to die, its Law will no longer be a righteous leaven and tutor to bring men to Christ, its Gospel will no longer be set on a hill for the nations that they might be saved, the doctrines of demons will continue to damn countless billions to eternity in Hell, every form of abominable debauchery will increasingly unleash suffering and death to multitudes on earth, and darkness will descend on humanity. Wake up, men! Wake up, soldiers! There’s a war on! Preach or die.

“Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.’ Amen.” -Matthew 28:18-20

“Stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel, and not in any way terrified by your adversaries, which is to them a proof of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that from God. For to you it has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake, having the same conflict which you saw in me and now hear is in me.” -Philippians 1:27-30

“If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow Me. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake will save it. For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and is himself destroyed or lost? For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words, of him the Son of Man will be ashamed when He comes in His own glory, and in His Father’s, and of the holy angels" -Luke 9:23-26
