To the commentatot Barry and others who feel like him: I have a right to my opinion. As I stated before, I love Andy Griffith but disagreed with his strong support of this president. That to me was a serious negative act. I have a right to express my views. This a public forum. Right? God bless.
Loved Andy Griffith! But my concern with him was his support of Obama--when Obama was running as president. And then his strong support of Obamacare. That was a big mistake--my own opinion.
As an African American, that sounds nice that this Luter may be the first. BUT my main concern is that he follows the teachings of Christ. The article described his preaching as electrifying. I don't care about that. What I care about is if he is a godly leader and do what is right according to the scriptures--to denounce homosexuality, abortion, racism, to name a few. This is what is important in a godly leader--not his race.
Very interesting article. Good to know this trend is growing with African American children--improve their education. It definitely worked for my daughter.
To the commentator Mike from New York. Yes, I do believe there should be no separation of church and state. I will make myself clearer. There should be Christianity incorporated into politics. This is what God wants, I believe.
There was a comment that it is great that the US keep separation of Church and State. In my opinion, it is not great at all. We, as Christians, have an obligation to get involved with political issues that involve abortion, homosexual, racism, greed--to name a few. This is a matter of life and death! Christians should always have a voice in these issues. As far as Gil Right and Thomas Jefferson is concerned, these are just people with an opinion that I feel is flawed.
I used to love JCPenneys--but decided to abandon this wicked store when they first announced Ellen as spokesperson. I had a strong feeling that it would come to this and more. I called their headquarters and told them that they were wrong also. It fell on deaf ears. I'm through with them. As someone commented, there are other stores to shop at with a sense of the right family values.
