I would never have voted Cyrus or Artaxerxes into power. Yet, they were the very men our God used to gather his ancient people again in Jerusalem, rebuild the city and the temple, and to revive his worship in a day of great, great darkness. As the Lord God turned the hearts of those ancient pagans for the salvation of his chosen, he may be pleased to so turn the thoughts of President-elect Obama for the furtherance of the gospel and the salvation of his elect in our day. In fact, I am completely confident that he will (Romans 8:28-31; Psalm 76:10).
The devil can do what every it wants, he can only try and take God away from us but God promise in His word that He will never forsake us. Nobody can take God away from us. He is in me and not on a bus. My God forgive you but just know that God is within us and there is nothing you can do. Thank You Lord. IN JESUS NAME.
