Its good that Mr. Paisley stepped down as Moderator of the Free Presbyterian Church. Its just unfortunate that he didn't step down sooner. He should not have taken on the job of Northern Ireland's First Minister while being Moderator.I notice that the BBC are reporting that Mr. Paisley has taken part in a service with a Roman Catholic Priest. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/northern_ireland/7198719.stm If this turns out to be true, Mr. Paisley should be removed from his position as a Free Presbyterian Minister. The Free Presbyterian Church has always preached "..be ye separate onto the gospel" Its a sad sad day for the Free Presbyterian Church... |

Mike from Mex said:"Sorry GG, Jesus always talked to the living. He never addressed anything to dead folks unless He was raising them from the dead." What about when Jesus spoke to Elijah & Moses on the mountain when He was transfigured? Mark Chapter 9 9:1. And after six days, Jesus taketh with him Peter and James and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves, and was transfigured before them. 9:2. And his garments became shining and exceeding white as snow, so as no fuller upon earth can make white. 9:3. And there appeared to them Elias with Moses: and they were talking with Jesus. 9:4. And Peter answering, said to Jesus: Rabbi, it is good for us to be here. And let us make three tabernacles, one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. 9:5. For he knew not what he said: for they were struck with fear. 9:6. And there was a cloud overshadowing them. And a voice came out of the cloud, saying: This is my most beloved Son. Hear ye him. Were they dead or alive? It seems to be incorrect, scriptually, to claim Jesus only spoke to 'living' people, living, I assume to be normal mortal life like you or I presently occupy. |
