HE is the strength and life of HIS people .... "fear not thou worm Jacob" .... HE has put us in the ROCK of our salvation, and God keeps us standing on that ROCK. I will rejoice in the LORD. I will joy in the God of my salvation who hath given us beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness that we might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that HE might be glorified. May brother Clay continue preaching and directing us to CHRIST!

The gift of faith is given to all sinners, born of God, in the new birth. We learn that we were at one time darkness, and by the power of God we are made new creatures who come to hear the Gospel preached and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. We were one time darkness (the Bible reveals what those works and deeds were) but we have been translated to the kingdom of His dear Son, having been made children of Light by God; partakers of the Divine nature whose walk we are told is "the fruit of the Spirit in all goodness and truth". We read: "thy fruit is from me" and we boast not in ourselves but in God for "it is He hat worketh in us both to will and do of His good measure".

“ Walk by the Spirit ”
This sermon by brother Bruce. was a blessing. Our Lord said: "without me ye can do nothing". When God the Spirit creates life within the dead soul, we are born from above, and the same power that raised our Lord from the grave is the same power declared b the Gospel; Christ in us the hope of glory. Surely if we believe that the worlds were created by the power of His Word, it follows that this same power is at work in us to will and to do of His good please. We are new creatures, in whom this God was not in any of our thoughts, and now we learn that we have the mind of Christ; now He is in all our thoughts if we are in Christ.

Perhaps the most seamless and timeless teaching on the matter of our walk as children of the Light in this world; brother Gabe wisely teaches how Grace and His commandments to us, as dear children, are not in contradiction to the Gospel of the free grace of God sovereign in salvation. God, having made know to us our salvation by the Word of His Spirit confirming to us and in us that we are the children of God who walk in liberty as well as fear of the Lord; liberty in walking in His Light knowing there is no condemnation (Rom 8:1)

This is our common profession and confession from hearts made new and good by God the Spirit.

God is not in all his thoughts; who? The wicked. Before He made Himself known to us this was true of us. Our Lord promised the Holy Spirit shall come upon His people (J15:36), (J16:8) & (J16:13) in quickening power to all His chosen; His new creation will receive life & faith; as a result agree that we are SIN; so that, for the 1st we see the nature of our 1st birth is dead, vile, corrupt & polluted. We are taught of God that we possess a new holy nature yet, the old nature SIN is ever present in our physical body unchanged & though new creatures we remain sinners; sin is mixed with all we do. And yet, His Spirit beareth witness with our spirit that we are born of God (Rom 8:16). We hate SIN (our sin) desiring to be free from its presence; and we shall. Yet, the written words of the Spirit of God read or preached (specifically, Psalm 32:1-5; Romans 4:8, 6:14, & 8:1) convince us to look to Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 5:21) confessing & believing all the testimony of God concerning His Blessed Son; hoping in the promises of the Gospel secured, for us, by our Representative, who are made to believe & apprehend by faith what He has purposed for us; justification, eternal life and joy unspeakable. He has made it so that God shall be in all our thoughts forever!

What a comforting strengthening message by brother Shawn. No matter where the child of God is in his present state, this message is the creatine that strengthens and builds the sheep in this most precious faith, simultaneously increasing our hope-that is our salvation conformity to Christ Jesus as we are expectant about our dropping this tent of flesh, being free of sin and the pollution of the flesh, conformed to His image of the Son of God, and received into glory in His presence forever. What a God and Savior!

“ Resurrection Power to Believe ”
Ephesians 1 is such a great section of Scripture. In the message Shawn reference a man, James, who is perhaps a member of his local church. Free-willers and easy believism was also mentioned and I am not in favor of goat-bashing because people believe a lie because God is not in all their thoughts; like you or I was but, it was God who caused me to believe hence, I can not boast or look down on someone who is dead and blind. The power of His resurrection is something for us to live by here but Paul states "if in. this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable" (1 For 15:19) and that our citizenship is in Heaven (Ph 3:20). James states our life is but a vapor (jam 4:4). And we have 2 Cor 5:1. So, His resurrection power is His promise that we shall have the victory in this life, and when our minds are anchored too securely to the things of this world or this life now then, His love for us results in chastisement that produces clear-headedness so that we expectantly look for Him calling us, or His return.

In this message, brother Don draws from the treasure of Romans 14:10-12 how believers are to behave towards one another in the visible church of any local assembly. We who believe in the free sovereign grace of God, as well as the fact that we are no longer under the Law may be subject to teaching that appears sound under the pretext of the necessity of the watchman who assumes the watchdog inspecting the profession of others as "the elder" yet, such teaching and the tests are evidences of weka preaching and manufactured man-made laws o instruction which are no more a work of grace than someone who preaches man's works produce by the Law for acceptance with God. We must trust Christ, welcome (as brethren) those whose profession and trust is in Christ theSon of God and wait on the Lord. Good preaching, under the care of the Sovereign Lord Jesus, who keeps His church will also protect His church.

A simple, clear and distinct message by brother Clay reminds me that preaching the same thing (Salvation is a Person) is indeed not grievous, but safe, as he declares the determinate counsel, will and act of God in having mercy upon this sinner. “Believing God is a miracle of God's grace. It comes as a surprise to the sinner. For the first time he hears good news in the preaching of the Gospel. Christ has been formed within him. What a happy day!-C.Curtis

“ Preaching as God has purposed. ”
Truly an outstanding Gospel message on the heals of the conference @ Sellersburg, by brother Fred, strengthening the believer's hope. The message, for me, is a corrective and contrast of a messenger who declared that the false gospel robs him of his confidence & salvation, as well as it being responsible for sending many people to hell. God send people to hell for their rebellion. Strange and contrary words to our Lord's words (John 10:27-28). Furthermore, it is not the declaration or even our acceptance of the term “the free and sovereign grace of God” that saves a sinner; it is Christ who saves to the uttermost. God has saved many a sinner, who never heard the term. If a man goes to hell here is what our Lord said: John 3:18 and John 10:26.

John 7:46 we read these words: “Never man spake like this man”, the context was the Lord Jesus Christ. Well, here in this message preached by brother Clay, these can be said of the brother however, only in the context that our Lord is speaking to His sheep, and truth be told, the message gives all glory to Christ the King. The words of the hymn: “It is well with my soul” speaks peace throughout the current f the message. God be praised, salvation is “all” His work.

Our brother Job said: “that which I see not teach Thou me” (Job 34:32). God hath performed all His good word toward us: “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart”. "Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The Lord be magnified" (Ps 40:16). who is anointed with the oil of gladness. Our brother Clay has declared that true happiness is found in our Lord Jesus Christ. By the grace of God, “Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding" (Pro 3:13).
