Allan wrote: For God so love the world that woever believes shall... Question. Who are those that believe? Where in that verse does it say that they who believe were able to believe on their own unbiased will? It doesn't. Where does it say that God did not choose to enable them to be able to choose to believe? It doesn't (and for arguments sake, it doesn't say that they were either). It is a declaritive statement. But ignoring what it does and does not say and trying to imput your opinion of what it says is not how you are supposed to read it. That which it does not say is important as it does NOT exclude what we think it means in favor of what you think it means. Amen and God Bless you;, there are also other precious verses especially from Romans and Ephesians that are more clear on this subject. It seems some have never read them. Of course God has to reveal TRUTH.... It is not my intention to argue; however, I must glorify the Lord in Salvation. |

Dr. Yamil Luciano wrote: God is in control. And that is the same God that states, "For God so loved the world..." Oh, excuse me. I forgot. He is in much in control as long as the Calvinism chain will allow him to be. Sola Calvinism! You may be very educated; however, it is apparent that you are blind to the Word of God.....Of course, only God can open one's eyes to this truth and it foolish for one to argue this point. |

Artie G wrote: "The head of the largest Protestant denomination is not a Calvinist" He's not a REAL Christian Wow thats terrible!!! Hey I thought you Baptists didn't like being called "Protestants"??? I'm not sure if your comment was sarcasm or not. However, only those who are called are Christians and the truths of Calvinism declare who belong to the Lord.. The Southern Baptists I know are no more than Arminians who use double talk. They say the believe in GRACE and then declare what they must do... As a matter of fact, they trust in the convention and that is evident in all they say. Thank God for Sovereign Grace and the knowledge to know that God is in CONTROL..Nothing will ever take HIM by surprise and especially not the Salvation of His Own Elect. I hold to all the points of Calvinism because they are from the Word of God. By the way, I am a Baptist; I am one of those few who trust in a Sovereign God and have been associated with two very small fundamental churches during the past thirty-five years. Thank God for the priviledge of sitting under true men of God. |

Jon Barr wrote: You don't think Satan could quote scripture? I'm not saying that Hillary is Satan, but if all you have to do is quote some scripture to be considered a Christian, then that would make 99% of this world Christian. I have even heard an Athiest quote scripture. Amen and God bless Lurker and Seaton for their sense of humor... All this is a real JOKE!! Double Standards is apparent in all the candidates and especially in Hillary. She definitely has NO fear of God.... |

Why is it that so many do not realize what a preacher's job involves?etk, I did not intend for that to be an ugly face comment. I thought this was a Christian site and that true Christians realize the TRUE responsibility of a pastor. God bless you kenny... This is a sodomite problem and so few preach against this sin. What is wrong with us anyway that we stand for truth even when getting criticized? Thank God for a few soldiers of the CROSS. etk, I do not know if you are an American just living in Japan; however, Hillary Clinton has NO Christian values and she puts her approval on everything. If that makes me ugly in my comment, SO BE IT. I do not wish to argue and never use this site for debate or argument and as with a lot of other subjects, this is my last point of view on this one... As an American I do still have my rights. My loyalty is to the Lord and no one else... |
