Now if you've never been allowed of God to suffer depressive thoughts, count yourself most fortunate, and take heed while you stand, for it is only God which makes you to stand. The Lord can take you right to the edge of insanity, if he sees fit. I personally know retired missionaries who are now suffering dementia. Would you say to them that they have failed to overcome?
