If you guys can believe it, I happen to know Ed Bacon of the All Saints Church in Pasadena. The church which he pastors is perhaps the most liberal in America! They believe absolutely nothing that God says, nor do they have a high view of Scripture.

Whoever says that Rev. Bacon is a dangerous man is correct. Everybody on his staff at All Saints are either gay men or lesbians. It is so sad. Needless to say, the church is large and very influential in Pasadena.

They just led in a meeting at the City Hall in Pasadena to protest the passage of Prop 8. This is actually the second time in two months that they have done this.

How do you like his governing from the center so far? His executive order that will require US taxpayers to fund abortions performed out of the country, for instance. Nice centrist effort there, huh Vogue?

Mike:

I agree that opposition is not neccessarily hate, I'm simply saying pray for the man! I will not agree with everything that the President does, especially as it relates to abortion, gay marriage, etc.

However, I am going to pray very hard that the Congress and Senate will stand up for traditional marriage and the family. Yes, He will govern from the Center for the most part. Most Republicans have even conceded this fact, including Bill O'Reily!

If I believe that salvation is by Justification By Faith in Jesus alone then I am a True Believer. That is the MARK OF A TRUE BELIEVER. And why do you keep stating that I follow the Doctrines Of Apostates when I keep stating that I have totally repudiated and rejected all unscriptural Catholic doctrines and adhere only to the scriptural Catholic doctrines? Just who do you think you are to state that I am not saved just because I have not left the RCC and have not united with some type of Fundamentalist Protestant Church? There are saved individuals in all churches that acknowledge the Deity Of Jesus and the Holy Trinity. Saved individuals are not just in Fundamentalist Protestant Churches like you loonies seem to think.
Dear John:

You will simply have to ignore Lyn and pray for her. Like our Lord, you will have to pray: "Father forgive Lyn for she knows not what she says". In other words, love her uncondtionally!

To all of the Obama Haters:

The question that I would ask is, would God want us to denigrate Obama, or does He expect us to pray for him?

Obama has already shown that contrary to the thoughts of many, he will govern from the center and not from the left! That's major given that people like Nancy Pelosi thought he would select all left wingers for his cabinet.

I challenge you all to pray for "OUR" President, that God will truly get a hold of his heart and mind and lead him accordingly!

I am oppose to both gay "marriage" and gay "partnerships". To his credit, even President GWB said that he was against gay marriage and even "Civil Unions".

Whatever anyone thinks of GWB, at least he had enough boldness to state his position on this very divisive and controversial issue in America.

Why don't you like happy people?

Hey Mike:

That is probably the problem: gay people are miserable and they make every attempt to make others miserable.

I'm just tired of them always complaining and challenging every move that they perceive to be against their cause, all the while Christians and other people simply sit back and be quiet!

I am so sick and tired of Christians always feeling the need to compromise what we claim to believe! Why is it that we are the ones expected to be "tolerant" of others who hate us?

Yes, I know what the Lord said about "Turning the other cheek", etc. I'm not sure however if He meant that we should make people comfortable in their perversion and sins.

Please pray for me as I am literally sick and tired of the Gay community always complaining! I mean it, I am sick of Gay people right now!

The amazing part about this Administration is the lack of "Blackness" for all the Black Americans that really toiled, cheated and sweated to get this media darling into office they have nothing to show for their efforts. One key appointee the Attorney General this reminds me of the hiring of Black college coaches. We can still sing and dance ask Aretha. What happen to TD Jakes did not Time run a cover story calling him the next Billy Graham and that article was written by a white writer. As stated Rick Warren will compromise the Gospel to exploit the opportuntiy to be in the spotligh.
Wise:

You're no so wise with your comments. first, your assertion is wrong. OBama has selected/nominated four Blacks for his cabinet/administration positions.

Rick Warren is a good pick as he is well respected by all. T.D. Jakes is a false teacher, and there are "other" issues that would not make him a good fit for the invocation.

No it's not. Obama has yet to produce his birth certificate. He's produced evidence that one exists but no birth certificate. Why is he unwilling to produce it? If he has evidence of his birth on U.S. soil, all he has to do is produce it to settle the dispute and end the discussion.
As a citizen of the country that he's about to be president of, I would like to see legal evidence of his birth on U.S soil. I know for a fact that there are many others who feel the same way.
Being the first black man elected president of the United States does not mean that he is above the Constitution. There is ample reason to question his place of birth. It's not foolishness to ask him to produce proof of it.
I believe it's foolishness not to demand it.
Kenny:

I think you should pray and ask God to give you peace, because you're in for a loooong 8 years my friend! Hawaii is satisfied with Obama's birth place, which is their State!

Vogue; you seem to set yourself up as judge and jury; we cannot be for certain of Reagan's, or any mans final destination. Christ can save a lost soul on their deathbed. You accuse others of assumptions, yet you yourself seem to assume quite a bit. It is always best to remember Christ is the Head, we must humbly walk with our God, and this is a daily denial of 'self'.
Let's stick with what we are all called to do, proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ; leave the labeling of folks to those who like to do such. We need to pray for others, not label and judge them. It doesn't matter if one is Dem., Rep., or Indy. If they haven't been saved by the grace of God, and cleansed by the blood of Christ; if they are not a new creation in Christ; the only thing they truly are is l-o-s-t; & in desperate need of hearing the gospel, being prayed for.
Wll, I agree that we should not judge a person's heart. However, you must admit, it isn't me that declares that Regan was a Christian, in my White Evangelical schools, they all seem to think he was!

Vogue from Texas/California; Most people don't think Republicans are Christian, they think Republicans are conservative. Are you saying Methodists cannot be born again?
Yes, I'm sure UMC people can be saved, just as I believe Catholics can be saved. Most Evangelical however think that being Republican is tantamount to being "Christian". That is why many think that Regan was a Christian, when clearly he was not as far as we know!

Why is it foolishness?
Kenny:

It is foolishness to listen to "Internet" gossip concerning the next President, and then try to take it to the US Surpreme Court! That's the foolishness, especially when the State of Hawaii officials have verified the authenticity of Obama's birth certificate with other agencies that have a need to know, and then have them also validate the record.

In my estimation, this has gone on for far too long by sore losers who will stoop to any level to try to denigrate an innocent man! Yes, its pure foolishness!

So much for the false theory that if you're a Republican, you're "automatically" a Christian. These words by GWB doesn't surprise most people in America, after all, he is a member of The United Methodist Church. there's your answer!

This issue is all about being "sore losers". The State of Hawaii has already certified officially, that Barack Obama was born in their State! Pure and simple.

Here's the bottom line: On January 20, 2009, Lord willing, Barack Hussein Obama will be sworn in as the next President of the United States of America!

I am praying that this brillant man will be a great President for our nation, and that He will honor the Lord in His Administration.

Vogue,
You said,"Obama is perhaps the most gifted and eloquent politician we've ever had."
You also said,"He will go down in history as one of the great Presidents in US history!"

Everything I said about Obama is what I percieve about him. He is perhaps one of the most gifted and talented politician this Country has ever had. How else would you explain that a US Senator with only 2 years experience before anouncing his plan to run for the White House, could win in a major lanslide over a 26 year veteran?

That takes skills, and Obama has major political skills! So, while I obviously would disagree with his pro-choice stance, and probably other stances he may take, that doesn't mean that he cannot be a good President in terms of his success in bringing about good policies, selecting a good cabinet, and other key positions.

Let me say for the record, he was clearly the more gifted, talented, articulate, mature, stable, and appealing candidate between he and John McCain! The American people overwhelmingly felt that way too!

I am always amazed with people's false assertion about our Lord's attitude towards sin. Obviously, he doesn't know the God of the Bible, and is therefore delusional in his misleading statement. What a shame, and that is why I am concerned about people who embrace this kind of mockery!
Vogue,
Any hypocrisy with your above statement but also not realizing that Obama has no credibility with true born-again Christians who abhor his most wicked affirmation for the barbaric act of birthing a child except for his head and then piercing his skull with a sharp tool so they may suck the child's brains out!!!
Not to mention his approval of the perverted homosexual lifestyle!
Savedbygrace:

None of these things have anything to do with me! Why? I am pro-life, against gay marriage, etc. I will be gracious and give you an heads up question: if you want to know if I voted for Barack Obama, before you make assumptions, you need to ask me, and I will as always, be totally honest with you!
