Your zeal for upholding truth and right is commendable and we should all want to be more non-compromising with the world around us. However, without providing concrete evidence of your assertions, I am left not feeling condemned or convicted, but offended and judged by someone who perhaps has jumped the gun too far. Are we therefore then to condemn ALL fictional works as being rubbish? Yes, while the stories of the Hobbit and LOTR do contain "magical" elements (wizards, spells, etc.), is there a difference between the literary usage of these things as being elements of story- telling venture aimed at a higher goal then say the works of the woman who wrote the Potter series? I do think there is a qualitative difference. Are we to condemn the watching of ANY fictional movie or fictional story? How far do we take this?

How about God is faithful to maintain His covenant promises to the physical children of Abraham as Paul reiterates in Romans 9-11 as the Gentiles are now grafted in as if they were natural branches, all the while Paul maintaining the distinction between the two people for the purpose of His promises to Abraham, but of course not in Christ.
Does Jesus not love the Jewish people and is He not working to fulfill the promises God made to them, to save them and bring them to national repentance and restore them to their land? If not, please give me Scripture to show where God has now cast off the Jewish people completely (and not in a salvific sense, for we all know that outside of Messiah, NO ONE is getting in).
Look, if people cannot see the Jew-hating, Christian-hating rhetoric and BELIEFS of men like Ahmednijaad and Islam in general, I do not know what else to say. Because Holocaust denial usually goes hand-in-hand with loving the Jewish people? Come on, man... |

Presuming this timeline, once Cain and Able were banished from the Garden, wouldn't they have encountered dinosaur killing-machines far faster and more lethal than each other? Why isn't this mentioned in the biblical text? Although this is a fair question to ask, the Bible was not written to be a science textbook to answer the questions of all would-be believers who won't believe no matter how much evidence they may receive. One could equally question why a history textbook commenting on the Civil War of America would fail to mention the rise of Dixie music amongst people in parts of the Union. If it didn't report on this, we wouldn't question the veracity of the text for this reason alone, for we would know it wasn't written for that purpose. The same may be said for the Bible. Faks, I do retract the "filthy Jew" statement, although with your obvious contempt for the Jews, it is easy to assume you would think this. Your constant use of sweeping generalizations (especially your last libelous, unprovable comment) as if Jewish unbelievers were the only sinners capable of pride and arrogance of such degree smacks of hatred towards another group not your own. You present a lot of statements as accepted fact, and yet I do not see one citation for your claims. Do you not understand that Yeshua is a variant of Y'hoshua (BTW, I don't think most Jewish people are drawn to the name Yeshua anyway)? I don't hate Paul/Sha'ul, I accept the entire NT, and any Jew who thinks they are better just because they are Jewish must repent NOW.

A conversation that could have been focused on the Messiah Jesus and the need to glorify Him as God and Savior has degraded into antisemitic rants about how to say His Name, as if English is the only language in which one can praise? This whole conversation is stupid and a waste.
