Friend, your posts pointing to the different renderings are beneficial and well appreciated.
However, when stating
"in taking care of the text of Scripture, then men do partake of his practice and character", the idea goes back to the 5000 plus manuscripts behind the Textus Receptus. This colossal piece of evidence should quickly dismiss the attempted creation of a constantly changing 'critical text' originated with Westcort and Hort.
Adhering to the TR one 'identifies with' (or becomes part) of God's historical acts of providence, rather than of man-originated corruptions.
Significantly, this brings to light the only two sets of minds existing, - yet this not implying exclusive boastings or sinless-perfection presumptions:
1. The corrupted mind of reprobates: "as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith" 2Ti 3:8 versus
2. The spiritual mind which is the mind of Christ by His Spirit in us, as mentioned in 1Co 2:15-16:
"he that is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him?
But we have the mind of Christ"
In Christ,
excellent addendum

I. Q. al Rassooli is an Iraqi exile and an author, who is fluent in Arabic, the language of the basic documents of Islam.
I.Q. left Iraq as a young man to study abroad at a university. He took advantage of this opportunity to compare the Bible to the Qur'an.
What he discovered shocked him.
He set out on a 30-year examination of the Qur'an, Hadith, Arab and Islamic Histories, the Arab-Israeli conflict, and the Bible.
Mr. al-Rassooli is now committed to saving western civilization by exposing the facts and reality of Islam to a Qur'an-ignorant world.
He is the author of Lifting the Veil: The True Faces of Muhammad and Islam, Volumes 1, 2, and 3.

Her Husband says
"Though it does not undo the pain we are feeling, I was extremely relieved to get the news of the arrest made last night of Amanda's killer. The investigators have assured me they have a solidly-built case to ensure justice is levied and the process is expedited. The family and I couldn't be more thankful for the level of compassion and professionalism the IMPD and investigators have shown us through the last couple of weeks. My hope is for 3 things in the weeks and months to come:

(1) That the court system would have wisdom on how to prosecute this man, so that no one else endures the pain Amanda and our family have had to endure because of his actions.

(2) That through all of this and although there will be great consequences for his actions, he would become truly sorry for what he has done and would even begin to experience the life-transforming power of the Grace and Mercy of Jesus Christ.

(3) That Jesus would give me and our family a heart of forgiveness.
..
I choose the route of forgiveness, grace and hope.
...
Today I am deciding to extend forgiveness, not bitterness. Today I am deciding to hope, not despair. By Jesus' power at work within us, the best is STILL yet to come. Even when I don't see it, I believe it to be true.
"

agreed!

God was in the process of purifying His preserved words from the accumulated corruptions, omissions and additions, both textual and in meaning, that had crept in over the centuries. God's true words were still preserved, but they were in different Bible versions and manuscripts that also contained many corruptions.

Kept in mind that these King James Bible critics themselves do NOT believe that there EVER was and IS NOT NOW such a thing as a complete and inerrant Bible in any language. Try to get them to answer the very question they raise. Ask them: "Can you show us a copy of a complete and inerrant Bible NOW, let alone before the King James Bible?"

They can't. And they know they can't.

as for English:God is no respecter of persons but He does choose to place His pure words in a specific language at a specific time in history.Ps 147:19-20a"He sheweth his word unto Jacob, his statutes and his judgments unto Israel. He hath not done so with any nation: and as for his judgments, they have not known them.

MT.24:6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars:

see that ye be not troubled:

for all these things must come to pass,

but the end is not yet. 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. 24:8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. 24:9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. 24:10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. ...

24:44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh. 24:45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? 24:46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

Words matter:
Who controls the world, God or Satan?

Several modern version teach it is Satan -

1 John 5:19 “And we know that we are of God, and the whole world LIETH IN WICKEDNESS.” Wycliffe, Coverdale, Bishops’ Bible, Geneva Bible, Youngs, Third Millennium Bible

The NIV says: "The whole world is UNDER THE CONTROL OF THE EVIL ONE." NASB, ESV, ISV, Holman, Catholic St. Joseph, NET
---
Is your righteousness before God the fine linen of the righteousness of Christ, or your "righteous deeds" as several fake bibles and the modern Catholic versions teach?

Revelation 19:8 - “And to her (the Bride of Christ) was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white; FOR THE FINE LINEN IS THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF SAINTS."

“The fine linen is the righteousness of saints” - Tyndale, Coverdale, Bishops’ Bible, Geneva Bible, Third Millennium Bible

Revelation 19:8 NKJV, NIV, NASB, ESV, NET, Catholic versions - “for the fine linen is THE RIGHTEOUS ACTS of the saints.”
----------

Can man "speed up" the coming of the day of God's judgment, or is it already marked by God on the calendar to the day and month?

2 Peter 3:12A KJB - "Looking for and HASTING UNTO the coming of the day of God,.."
NIV - “as you look forward to the day of God and SPEED ITS COMING.”

Gen19:7 And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly. 19:8 Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof. 19:9 And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.
...
19:13 For we will destroy this place, because the cry of them is waxen great before the face of the LORD; and the LORD hath sent us to destroy it. 19:14 And Lot went out, and spake unto his sons in law, which married his daughters, and said, Up, get you out of this place; for the LORD will destroy this city. But he seemed as one that mocked unto his sons in law.

Henry says:
Up, get you out this place - It was not time to trifle, when the destruction was just at the door. - ..

a 2013 survey commissioned by BuzzFeed found Democrats were more likely than Republicans to suffer from a whole host of mental illnesses: ADD/ADHD, Asperger’s/autism, depression, anxiety, OCD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, schizophrenia, anorexia, and bulimia.

And yet, the Obama administration seems most concerned about protecting the rest of the country from conservatives, observes Kupelian. They may not have declared conservatives mentally ill, he notes, but the Department of Homeland Security released a report in 2009 warning of a rising domestic terrorist threat from “rightwing extremism.” Potential rightwing extremists, according to the report, included returning military veterans, people concerned about illegal immigration, constitutionalists, Second Amendment supporters and pro-lifers, among others.

Kupelian pointed out that the communists of the old Soviet Union also were fond of demonizing and de-legitimizing their ideological opponents– but the Soviets went further than anything seen in America so far.

“In the Soviet Union, far-left ideology and a powerful impulse to silence dissent led to ‘diagnosing’ the most normal, clear-thinking and courageous people – ‘dissidents’ like Natan Sharansky – and incarcerating them in mental hospitals,” Kupelian explained.
close!

1 John
5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

There is nothing in the Johannine Comma that goes against the fundamentals of the Christian faith. It is thoroughly Biblical and theologically accurate in its Trinitarian statement. There is no good reason why we should not regard it as authentic and employ it as the clearest proof-text in the Scripture for the doctrine of the Holy Trinity.

our Creator meant what He said, and did not exaggerate or lie about preserving His words and giving us "the book of the LORD."

It is not a blind faith nor an unreasoning faith. God said He would preserve His words (Psalm 12:6-7) in a real book - “Seek ye out of the book of the LORD and read” (Isaiah 34:16) and the Lord Jesus promised “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” (Matthew 24:35)

I believe God is the Sovereign Governor among the nations (Psalm 22:28; Daniel 4:32 & 35) and that He cannot lie (Numbers 23:19 & Hebrews 6:18)

And since I believe God inspired His Book, then I believe what the Book says about itself - that it is the very words of God and not of men.

I also believe that many throughout history have corrupted the words of God, whether by accident or by evil intent.
2 Corinthians 2:17 - "For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ."

I also believe there is an adversary named Satan who sows doubt as to what God said - “Yea, hath God said…?” (Genesis 3:1) and who came to steal, destroy and to catch away the words of God that are sown in the hearts of men (Matthew 13:19; John 10:10)

ESV,NIV,NASB,RSV omit about 3000 words&45 verses.

God Promised to Preserve His Words

Psalm 12:6-7 says, "The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever." Then we read in Psalm 100:5 that ". . . . his truth endureth to all generations," and Jesus said in John 17:17 that God's WORD is truth.
These words state that God's preserved word MUST be available to us today, because God PROMISED to preserve it for us. There MUST be an infallible Book somewhere.

Because God Always Translates Perfectly
The words "translate" and "translated" occur three times in the Bible, and GOD is the Translator each time. The scholars insist that the KJV cannot be infallible, because it is "only a translation." Do you suppose that such scholars have checked II Samuel 3:10, Colossians 1:13, and Hebrews 11:5 to see what GOD has to say about translating?
In II Samuel 3:10 we are told that it was God Who translated Saul's kingdom to David. We are told in Colossians 1:13 that Christians have been translated into the kingdom of Jesus Christ, and Hebrews 11:5 tells us that God translated Enoch that he should not see death. God was doing the translating.a translation CAN be perfect, if God is involved.

Brother Laurence M. Vance has written a book called Double Jeopardy, in which he documents word for word the changes made in the 1995 NASB as compared to the previous 1977 NASB. The 1995 NASB now has almost 7000 fewer words in it than did the previous 1977 edition.

The NASB often rejects the Hebrew readings, but they never tell you this in their footnotes. You have to consult other versions like the RSV, ESV, and NIV to verify this. Many examples of the NASB not following the Hebrew texts are found here: http://brandplucked.webs.com/nivnasbrejecthebrew.htm

Redacted Mutilated Version?
or
Romanist Muitlated Version??
Mt. 6:9
"When ye pray, say,
Father Hallowed be name
6:10 kingdom come.
6:11 Give us day our daily bread.
6:12 And forgive us ; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us.
6:13 And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil:
"
RMV

a quicker way to do your beads:
The Romanish Blavatshy texts help to shorten the time on that old rosary.

BTW:
Mat6:6b.." Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly."
becomes
Mat6:6b.. Father which seeth in secret shall reward XXXX XXXXXX.

openly = in the open, publicly - omitted by NU, and modern translations, but the evidence is the same as in verse 4, therefore it is officious stealing
from God's Word.

The NIV adds 8 unauthentic words, and fails to translate 9 of the 31 Greek words.

round and round the new age (rhymes with sewage) bibles spin in their confusion.

but
1 Cor.14:33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

NIV Footnotes tell us they are UNCERTAIN over 100 times:

The quicksand of the 'no perfect Bible crowd' pushes toward the authority of a Pope to give a sure word.

Some protestant popes want authority over the word of God too..

so if Mt. 6 is a sloppy version of Lk 11's redacted version
& assuming moderns can't understand singular you:
a proposed Redacted Mutilated Version
with only common words from the prayers combined:

Mt. 6:9
"When ye pray, say,

Father Hallowed be t?? name
6:10 t?? kingdom come.
6:11 Give us ??? ?? day our daily bread.
6:12 And forgive us our XXXs; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us.
6:13 And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil:
????."
RMV

with X denoting words cut from some Greek texts, and ? denoting words in dispute
between the 2 prayers.
------
MT.6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye:
??? Father ????? ??? ?? ??????, Hallowed be XXX name.
6:10 XXX kingdom come, XXX ???? ?? ???? ?? ?????, ?? ?? ?? ?? ??????.
6:11 Give us this day our daily bread. 6:12 And forgive us our debts,
as we forgive our debtors. 6:13 And lead us not into temptation,
??? ??????? ?? ???? ????:
FXX tXXXX XX XX XXXXXXX,
XXX XXX XXXXX, XXX XXX XXX, XXX XXXX.
A???.
--
LK11:2 And he said unto them, When ye pray, say,
XXX Father XXXXX XXX XX XXXXXX , Hallowed be ??? name.
??? kingdom come.
XXX XXXX XX XXXX, XX XX XXXXXX, XX XX XXXXX.
11:3 Give us ??? ?? day our daily bread.
etc.

easier to memorize.but cf Rev 22

In a proper trial what would a jury think of five different witnesses whose words of testimony were so different as to fail to agree with a single one of the other witnesses? You will not find any of the below highly pertinent information in any of the critical editions, nor in books by present day textual critics. It is in such totally unreliable manuscripts that the critics would have us put our trust.Burgon remarks: And in this way they pass on the mutilations which the scalpel of Marcion the heretic used to reduce the Lord's Prayer some 1730 years ago (for the mischief can all be traced back to Marcion). Now this is being palmed off on the Church by the Revisionists as if it were the work of the Holy Ghost(UH I, p. B-43) And note this false statement, one which cannot be verified outside of personal opinion: some mss. insert phrases from Matt. 6:9-13 to make the two passages closely similar NASB footnote at this place. How did they know these words were inserted from Matthew? Were they there?Has anyone in a position to know positively, such as a second century patristic father, ever made such a statement? There is not a scintilla of evidence to support this insulting statement which regards God's preservation of His pure words as mere superstition.

Luke 11
It should not be overlooked that the Lord at different times spoke in words similar to other occasions. It is legitimate to think of the prayer in Matthew, and the prayer here in Luke, were not delivered at the same time and place.
Our Father -Only Aleph and B omit Our, and which art in Heaven, but that is enough for today's translators - never mind the entire witness both within and without Egypt which read Our Father which art in Heaven. NOTE: By starting this prayer with only Father, then the prayer could just as well be made to the Pope or to some other man claiming to hold the keys to Heaven. Also because of A, B, C, D, which do not have Your will be done, on earth as it also [is] in Heaven,
the new age Blavatsky `bibles' leave out this essential part of the Lord's prayer, and this in spite of the fact that Aleph deserts B by having these words. Lastly, Aleph and B omit the important last words, but deliver us from evil, again followed by NU, the NASB, NIV, NRSV, REB, NAB, GNB and CEV versions.

Add it up & 21 God-breathed words are expelled, words widely & fully witnessed & attested by some 2,000 Greek manuscripts. Aleph, B, A, C,&D falsify the Lord's Prayer in 45 words here in Luke.(Burgon)

What is commonly referred to as the Lord’s Prayer ends with these words: “For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.” Out of about 1000 remaining manuscripts these words are found in all but 10, or a ratio of 100 to 1. They are included in the Didache 150 AD, and the Diatessaron 170 AD (200 years before Sinaticus and Vaticanus). They are also found in the following MANY ancient Bible versions:

These inspired words of our Lord Jesus Christ are also found in Tyndale, Coverdale, Great Bible, Matthew’s Bible, the Bishops’ Bible, the Geneva Bible..
