Great Sermon! This has a Paul Washer flavor to it, but is so complete in pointing out Jesus and my need for Him, and the Law and my need for Christ, and my sin and my need for repentance.
If a person is searching for hard hitting truth of God's word, this is an outstanding message!
Great Sermon! He has some good things to say -- especially this: "We have shifted from the character of the messanger to the manipulation of methods."
Outstanding Sermon! This sermon about the happy man was outstanding. I have found in my own walk with the Lord that I don't have a choice but to meditate on His word with the purpose of understanding and knowing Him better so that I can walk in a manner worthy of my Lord. Even though I never seem to get it right, it is by necessity my desire and goal.
I was glad to hear 'Ivory Houses and Fat Cows' I am told that to question the doctrinal integrity of any TV ministry is a sin, but I'm also told to be in the Word, and I can't seem to avoid seeing the difference between the faith of the writers of the New Testament, and the orientation, doctrine, and the exclusive concern with the things of this world that seem more important than fixing our hope completely on the grace to be revealed at His coming.
How many sermons have I listened to in the past few years where if Jesus is even mentioned, He just gets the altar call at the end of the message? He used to be the way, the truth, the life, and no one could come to the Father but through Him, but now the teaching is all about the latest kingdom techniques, finding your purpose, getting behind a secular peace plan, or concentrating on sowing
for our best life now, and of course ignoring the signs of the times, …
What do you think it will take here in America for us to get to the point where Jesus, and our relationship to God and to each other in Him is enough to get us excited and motivated to live for the treasure in heaven, rather than the things of this world?
"The time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine"
Great Sermon! If you are hooked on the world and what it can give to you, listen to this sermon. Are you just "religious" without being willing to take up your cross? Please open your ears to hear what this Pastor has to say. Come back to Christ.
Timely and profound message. Timely and profound message. Thanks for proclaiming the truth. My prayer is that this will fall on hearts open to the message.
OUTSTANDING----OUTSTANDING This message is so incredibly relevant to America and to believers today---Amos read our mail.
One hour of your time, will give you an amazing understanding of God's mercy, as well as his judgment.
P O W E R F U L ! ! ! I would that all 'Christians' in today's 'church,' would listen to this soul-gripping sermon. It lays the axe upon the church's greatest problem of the day. But then in Puritanical manner, goes beyond the church in general, to admonish individual self-examination. This sermon will either have you on your knees repenting of a false conversion or holding onto the cross and cherishing the Father who saved you, as you never have before!
Consider the goodness and severity of God: on those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness.
Would that this were the fruit of every sermon - Revival would become inevitable.
Excellent Direction for Believers Dear Pastor LoSardo:
This sermon absolutely targeted a lot of the grave concerns about heresies and distraction that is infiltrating the modern church. If you don't mind, we'll be passing this sermon along (via CD) to a couple of pastors and others who may need to see where the dangers lie in so many of the 'new thangs' that try to make Jesus 'more palatable'.
Thanks for addressing this - we pray many will get back to the Christ of the Bible because of these kinds of sermons...they are few and far between.

Great Sermon! This is the first time I've listened to you Pastor Poss and I found this the most informative and excellent explanation of Predestination and Election that I have ever listened to. Thank You You answered some questions I had myself about babies and witnessing. God Bless
Excellent message on modern evangelism Excellent message on modern evangelism. I have just left a church where the preacher would never preach a convicting message, but would often ask people to "take Jesus into their heart" at the end of his weak message, sadly that is way to common up here in Vermont, I found a doctrines of grace church where the whole counsel of God is powerfully preached.
A Biblical view of the Gospel Truly, this would add to the arsenal of true evangelical perspective on the gospel. Here the speaker lays out the proper biblical content and method for preaching the God which are rightfully against what many churches are practising today - shallow content and invitationals. God's work should be done God's way!
Great Sermon! I learn one more thing: the gospel of Jesus Christ does not belong to us, it belongs to the Holy God. We therefore have no right in any way to change or alter the message. The message of the cross is holy, therefore keep it holy. We are just His messengers.
Great Sermon! Extremely powerful message. I'm living in London and sad to say, gospel here is watered down too. It's so hard for me to find a biblical evangelical church. Can anyone pls recommend me one in London? thanks!
