Great Sermon! Pastor, had GOD not raised up Godly men, and women who taught me the extreme importance of "reading the Word, daily,prayerfully,meditating upon His written Word; nothing would I have had to stand upon as a foundation for the extreme trials of the last three years of my life. KEEP ON PREACHING the way you are.Prepare the US church for persecution. It is not coming, it is here and I am not joking.
Great Sermon! Your sermon makes me want to take heed very single time that I hear GOD'S word. This message is a great need. I do thin that there are some, for what ever reason, are outside of the church's building. Whether it is for recuperation, illness, discipline, waiting on the Lord to be sent out etc...what type of encouragement would a preaching/pastor give to those? There is a great need for this because shut ins are often neglected and misunderstood. Can I challenge you to think about this and perhaps give a message on this topic? I would appreciate it. Thank-you.
Great Sermon! Excellent points made Pastor Bill. It baffles my mind how so many old and new testament scriptures can be ignored. Why is there such fear of Isreal being saved as God's Word so clearly expounds?
Great Sermon! The entire teaching to the people is a man centered to do list. All goodness (called the fruit of the Spirit) coming from man, obedience producing good works, rather than "Christ in you the hope of glory," doing it through you. The "Jesus" of this man made doctrine just somehow seems to send sweet little, warm feelings, blessings for all of this OBEDIENCE. As long as they keep Jesus under their feet, and the truth of His completed, finished work suppressed, they don't even have to pray together because after all look up, the rapture is right up their coming for them. No responsibility to the poor, and special needs of the voiceless and unseen is ever preached. No, "GO. Go. Go; feed, and clothe and comfort, bind up, teach and send." It is all about staying here while letting some "faithful man" preach his whole Christian view in your face every single Sunday. And if someone different comes in, beware---they are divisive before they even open their mouth, they are dubbed a threat. This is not the true Church of Jesus Christ and this is a dangerous movement.
Great Sermon! Wew! I new stand rebuked, and corrected, and facing a new direction. GOD has split the fine hair that long needed to be split. My Presbyterian pastor's mom was of Armenian, and she implanted seeds of total dependence upon GOD, through Jesus Christ. My Lutheran pastor encouraged his congregation weekly saying; "Your sins are forgiven in Jesus Christ." It is the gospel of salvation in Jesus Christ, by grace through faith, plus nothing that we stand upon, that we guard, and defend; all else is secondary. We are in a changing time in the American Church and I praise GOD for the leaders that He has raised up. When we are proud over our knowledge of grace we become morons. I think that I have heard you correctly now.
Great Sermon! Please,keep preaching to me. I too am American and have wrong priorities. Keep on preaching this way, do not stop preachers like you can lead us out of this. We will pray for you.
Great Sermon! I do not know...something strikes my eye about the verse;
" For He will finish the work and cut it short in righteousness, Because the LORD will make a short work upon earth." Is this the short years of life (His WORK of the cross) Jesus short thirty three years lived upon the earth?
Great Sermon! Pastor Poss, I can't thank you enough for making it much clearer to me why Isreal will be saved in the final days. The view of so many reformers had me confused and doubting what I had believed for so many years. Studying Charles Hodge's excellent points has eased my mind. Spiritualizing too many of Old Testament prophecies away is a very serious error on the part of many reformers. God Bless
Great Sermon! Another comment, I wonder if GOD actually would strip us of all things until we get the message that "faith, hope, and love abide and the greatest of these is love,"
which brings us back to "GOD in Christ reconciling the the world to Himself, not counting our sins against us."
Great Sermon! I appreciate your messages. It is a great thing to have a preacher who speaks about reality, and the application of GOD'S Word in reality, rather than legalism. It has helped out of grief and loss, and it is helping me to move away and back into the race. Keep on preaching!
Amen Amen and Amen! To the truly regenerate individuals and Church in America: As the Lord Jesus Christ said Himself to the Church of Sardis - Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die. REMEMBER therefore how you have received and heard; hold fast and repent. Therefore if you will not watch, I will come upon you as a thief, and you will not know what hour I will come upon you. It will be suddenly. We stand by God's grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.
Great Sermon! a must hear for anyone whos eyes have just been opened to the doctrines of or infact any calvinist or even arminian, its so easy for us to get entrenched, this sermon is and will i think be a great help to me and many others, bless you Bill i have really enjoyed listening to you recently.
Great Sermon! Oh that the whole church would listen to this sermon! Please if you are a pastor, or any Christian, for that matter, do not neglect talking to your brothers and sisters about sin, and do yourself a favor and listen to this sermon.
Great Sermon! We should not play with sin. The Mighty Samson let his sin get the best of him. Listen how we should NOT do the same.
Thank you for this powerful message.
