In 1 Cor. 5:7 we are informed that Christ is our Passover sacrificed for us. As we follow the instructions laid down in Exodus 12 we can see how they point to Christ in every detail. He was without spot or blemish. The flame of God's wrath was visited upon him. The remains of the sacrifice was was to be burned the following morning, thereby preventing corruption. The bones were not to be broken which was fulfilled when the soldiers came to break the limbs of the sufferers on the cross, Christ was already dead.
