Prayer. My practice is that, every time I listen to a sermon, after that I am praying for the preacher, for his ministry and for his church. Of course, if it is a sermon from a preacher who is alive. I recommend to other listeners to SermonAudio to do the same. If you benefit from a sermon, and God speaks to you, it is appropriate to pray for the man who delivered the sermon.
Great reality. Good message. I liked especially how many times it is said that God was with David, and that Saul saw this. This is my wish for myself: that the Lord may be with me, and that the unsaved around may see this.
Great truths. Good message. It is true: in the Word of God we find all responses to the evil attacks of the devil, the Word of God is indeed our spiritual sword.
Great salvation in Christ. The Lord Jesus experiencing such depths of sufferings and pain for my sins! In His love, He experienced what I should have experienced, because of my crushing guilt.
Needful clarifications Too many are caught up in the myth/fallacy of Baptist 'impunity', attesting them as not being part of the Protestant Reformation.
Most, if not all, of the early American Baptists were Strict Calvinist Baptists, which trace back their origins to English Baptists rather than to the continent Anabaptist mixed bunch, to which only the Menonites can, and that from a particular pacifist/Arminian group of European Anabaptists which actually emerged from the Reformation phenomena also. Thanks for these observations.
Great Sermon! Great teaching on the history of the Reformation, etc. in Britain. God bless you brother. The second time I'm listening to it by the way.
Good message. This is a very good sermon, depicting true and false ways of worshiping God. The sinner demands the right to define himself how to approach God. But the true worshiper knows that God has the right to define how man can approach Himself, and He revealed this way in His Word.
