Praise ye the LORD: for it is good to sing praises unto our God; for it is pleasant; and praise is comely. The LORD doth build up Jerusalem: he gathereth together the outcasts of Israel. He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds. He telleth the number of the stars; he calleth them all by their names. Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.

Seven Indisputable Facts Revealed In The Bible
The one true and living God is Totally Sovereign in all things (Psalm 135:6).
All men by nature are Totally Depraved, dead in sin (Romans 5:12).
God’s choice of some to salvation was an eternal, Unconditional Election (Ephesians 1:4).
Christ died and made an Effectual Atonement for the sins of God’s elect (John 10:11, 26; Hebrews 9:12).
Salvation is wrought in God’s elect by the Irresistible Grace of the Holy Spirit (Psalm 65:4).
Every believer shall Persevere in Faith because all are infallibly preserved by grace (John 10:28).
All who are in Christ are Free from the Law (Romans 7:4; 8:14, 15; 10:4). Pastor Don Fortner
Two Sides to Every Coin
DIVINE SOVEREIGNTY without human responsibility leads men to fatalism and indifference. “Who can resist His will? Then why blame me for sinning?” (Rom. 9:18-19).
HUMAN RESPONSIBILITY without divine intervention leads men to despair and helplessness. “How then can man be justified with God? How can he be clean that is born of a woman?” (Job 25:4).
SOVEREIGN ELECTION without means and the response of repentance and faith leads men to idleness and an unjust view of God. “I knew thee that thou art a hard man, reaping where you have not sown, (so I did nothing).” (Matt. 25:24).
HUMAN EFFORT and means without divine purpose leads men to pride and self-righteousness. “Being ignorant of God’s righteousness and going about to establish their own righteousness.” (Rom. 10:3).
THE KINGDOM OF CHRIST or the reign of Christ on earth without the reign of Christ in the heart leads men to seek rewards, position, and self-glory. “Grant that my sons may sit one on Thy right hand and one on the left in thy kingdom.” (Matt. 20:21).
RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES and even outstanding gifts and services without love for Christ and others lead men to empty service and worthless sacrifice. “Though I bestow my goods to feed the poor and give my body to be burned and have not love, it profiteth me nothing.” (I Cor. 13:3).
SPIRIT WITHOUT TRUTH is wildfire; truth without Spirit is dead orthodoxy. Grace without obedience is disgrace; obedience without grace is hypocrisy. Pastor Henry T. Mahan (bulletin 1990)
SAFE IN HIS HANDS
"His left hand is under my head, and his right hand doth embrace me" (Song of Solomon 2:6).
Our salvation in Christ is sure, safe and certain as the powerful hands of God our Saviour (Dan. 4:35; John 10:27-30). Believer, you are in good hands with Christ, being made one with Him (John 17:22-23).
His hands are sovereign hands able to save. "Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them"(Heb. 7:25).
His hands are strong hands able to keep us from falling. "Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,"(Jude 1:24).
His hands are tender hands able to teach us the way of salvation. "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls"(Matt. 11:28-29).
His hands are wise hands able to guide us. "For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand (Psalm 95:7).
His hands are loving hands that were wounded to put away our sin. "Now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself "(Heb. 9:26).
His hands are caring hands able to supply all our need in Him. "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus"(Phil. 4:19).
His hands are victorious hands able to receive us to Himself in glory forever. "And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also."(John 14:3).
Believer, aren't you pleased that you are in His hands? Aren't you delighted that His left hand is under you and His right hand does embrace you and receive you? Oh, how happy and thankful we are to be in His sovereign, wise, strong, tender, loving caring and victorious hands, under His continual care and rejoicing in Him and His so great salvation (Psalm 31:15; Heb. 2:3).
