What is happening in Colorado? Why hasn't anyone been doing research studies that show legalizing it there has led to negative consequences? I would think PBS would focus their Frontline documentary program on this. I guess they are too busy thinking of ways to explain how a day-old baby is not really a baby, so it is OK to abort them.
Thanks for sharing, "QC" Your points are well made. As to my vast personal experience with the millions of young adults I run into here in Maine, I would agree with the study. What I have also noticed is that people are using their smartphones even when they are in company with others. It seems like they do not know how to have a conversation, if it is not online. Maybe our language needs to be modified so people can speak in the same text words they use, and I have seen some of this, like 'BFF' meaning Best Friend Forever. I think social media and the Internet in general reduces the patience that is needed to sustain a conversation--sometimes, you have to listen to people talk about things that you are really not interested in. I have even heard that husbands develop a hearing defect in not being able to hear the frequency that their wives voices have.
I think this story is just showing people who popular President Trump is, despite all the attacks that the media makes. It is good that they include Hollywood's attacks in just the month of January. I think it has been the same or not worse for previous months. Mark Levin said that it seems that every news program you watch on the major networks is slamming Trump for one thing or another. I just watched today's NHK Newsroom Tokyo program and they made him an issue when doing a story about Iran's 40 years since they got rid of the Shah. They were quick to point out how the rich were doing well then, and the poor very badly. Now they could say the population has grown, and the religious rulers are doing well, while the majority of the population is not doing so well. NHK offered no experts analyzing the economy, but just had interviews with 2 guys they had talked to ten years ago. That is reporting? Sorry, talking to 2 people out of millions is not fair to all the rest.
