And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 3:14â€-‬17 KJVBonny... the good news, is the good news. Take care |

Bonny...We preach the good news to everyone. Whoever has ears to hear it, and is saved, is Gods business. As for you and me... preach the good news. Its simple. -- Christopher... In my opinion, these long threads come from the desire of some to show how much they have figured it all out. |

Dr Tim...I appreciate your last post. This is the kind of discussion that I've had with some others on this site. And like I said before it's challenged me to consider these things. I have looked into it. I understand the passion of the issue. What I have seen over the years since my conversion is several different types of Christians. Some barely study and care little about versions, somewhat charasmatic(and yes, i know a true brother in the Lord who is like that). Believe me, i see the problems with that. And i know some who are heavy into study and are more heavily reformed in their doctrine. I can appreciate the latter. Its a noble path. But i also see the latter has bogged down some into a corse, academic only type of walk that shows little power amd little appeal. Not a lot of joy visible. There has to be a balance and grace to all things. Im ok if we agree to disagree. But i do thank you for your graceful post. Have a blessed day. |

Bro john...You know me bro. I know the issues that weve discussed before. I use esv and kjv and compare. Its the attitude of some kjv onlyists im trying to point out. Its the mindset that some kjv onlyists have, that if you don't graduate to kjv only, you are poor student and lazy. This elitist attitude is unfortunate. Doesn't please the Lord i think. Off to sleep. |
