Distribution can never be too successful. Would to God there were more Bibles given away free. The problem is not with the Word of God, it is with the culture that is receiving it. Years ago the ground the Word was being sown on was largely good ground, now it is stoney ground. But we still have to sow it regardless.

Yes, there is a sense in which Christ gave Himself for the church corporately. We read that "Christ loved the church and gave Himself for it". But that does not mean to say that His sacrifice and offer of salvation is limited to certain individuals who have been "chosen" before hand. That would put a big question mark over the love of God. His sacrifice was for all people (Isaiah 53:6, John 3:16, 1st John 2:2), but all will not avail themselves of it. We become part of the body of Christ - the elect - the called out ones - for which He gave Himself, when we put our trust in Him for salvation.
What "hope" will these atheists offer the lawbreaker? After all, atheism teaches them there are no moral absolutes, rather than an absolute moral Lawgiver who will punish sin. Thus they will believe their only crime was getting caught, and will go on to do "what is right in their own eyes" when they get out.
Somebody definitely can't do the math. This is meant to be the affordable health-care act, but premiums are going to sky-rocket just to cover all this extra "political correctness".
Yes the UK does have a good health system, but it was not designed for unlimited immigration, which our government seems unable to stem. And I do think the free health care provided by the NHS should not really be fitting the bill for designer cosmetic surgery, alcohol, drug and tobacco related illnesses.

The Lisbon Treaty (EU Constitution) states that the Euro is the currency of the European Union project, so it is unthinkable for any country wanting to remain part of the union to drop the currency. It's as simple as that. A closer political union is the only possible outcome of this crisis, and that's what the elite hope will come to pass.
