GG wrote: Minnow...there really doesn't appear to be any redemption in your heart for Catholics...is there? Even those who are kicked out must be punished. I thought at least you would have compassion for fellow malcontents. No GG, Don't forget, we left - we didn't get kicked out. We left to form the real Church back in the 16th century. You should leave too and join a Reformed Church. |

GG wrote: How ironic for a man like Ion to set up a holiday for a Roman Catholic Saint. GG Don't forget that prior to the Reformation and the subsequent formation of the TRUE Church (Reformed), there were some REAL Christians in the RCC.Look at how good a Calvinist, Augustine was for example. The battle for the Truth and the True Witness has been going on throughout history. Even some of the Pharisees were converted to the True witness. So the True Christian witness was happening before the Reformers, by the grace of God, ditched the papist heresy and formed the Protestant Church. Sadly though the Protestant witness has been infiltrated again, by Arminian and Liberal - salvation by works. So popish style heresy has again tainted the Protestant witness even today. |

"...it did not condemn same-sex unions. The panel – comprised of Lutheran clergy, lay people and academics – acknowledged that the denomination had yet to reach consensus on such unions even after years of study and conversation."Whats to discuss??? Lev 18:22 "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination" Rom 1:26 "For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman,...." Because they "changed the Truth of God into a lie..." There is only one way to accept perversion and legalise it, - Ditch the Law and the Word of God. |

JD wrote: the points I have made have been largely ignored JD cannot receive the Biblical precept of Total Depravity. Hence does he seek to establish the idea that OT saints overcame sin by themselves, to the exclusion of grace and the Holy Spirit. Thus does he reject the Bible teaching that the Holy Spirit, alone, has always enabled the sinner to come to salvation. JD comes from the old papist/arminian position that salvation begins with human effort, - thus salvation by works! (And then of course their is Dispensationalism) The OT does not teach "indwelling" simply because the OT did not teach Trinity! Only in retrospect can we see that. This teaching emerges and belongs to the NT, whence God Incarnate came to finish the complete doctrine, and teach the Son's and the Spirit's work. Thus do we perceive that the Bible is ONE COMPLETE revelation, OT plus NT combined! |

John Yurich wrote: The other day I looked up the website of Trinity United Church Of Christ in Chicago, Illinois where Obama attends and belongs to and it states on that churches website that they have Altar Calls and thus that means that the minister preaches the Gospel Of Christ. John Yurich; How much does the Vatican pay you Jesuits for these comic cuts? |

"A judge in Salem, Mass., which calls itself "Witch City,"" OK, Here is the Real Judgment on Salem's judiciary. Exodus 22:18 Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live. Deuteronomy 18:10 There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, 11. Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer. 12. For all that do these things are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee. |
