Speaking of the evil Phariseees, Jesus didn’t say, “Off with their heads,” but rather “Let them alone.” As for rebelling against Christ’s kingdom, you apparently haven’t noticed that He has not yet established it here on earth. Since you have no loyalty to the United States, what do you care if someone sells our military secrets? Your silly little train is off the track.

Thank God for Roger Williams, who was instrumental in helping to formulate the principles upon which America was founded. Because of him and others like him, Erik is free to spout rubbish from sunrise until midnight. Erik, on the other hand, like a million tyrants before him, would deprive all of liberty except those who agree with his own flaky views—of which there can’t be more than one or two in the whole world. QC, my wife had migraines for years. She quit all sugar, caffeine and soft drinks and started drinking a lot of water, and now she almost never gets a headache, and hasn’t had a migraine for a couple of years. Not saying that will work for you, but it’s worth a try. I think the main key is staying well hydrated.

ARE you a legalist, Erik That’s easy to determine. If I asked, “What must I do to be saved?” what would your reply be? If you added anything to “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved,” then you are indeed a legalist. If I asked, “How do I stay saved?” and you replied that I am kept saved by anything other than “the power of God” (I Peter 1:5), then you are a legalist.

How could I possibly have had a blessed Lord’s Day, Erik? I spent it in one of those awful, heretical Baptist churches in a special (pagan) Veterans Day service honoring—or as you would have it, “venerating”— the men and women who risked their necks so that you would be free to post your ideas online. During this “pagan” service, many people heard the gospel who have never heard it before and who may never hear it again, but I’m sure you will find fault with that also. After the preaching we treated the veterans and their families to a free “pagan” Thanksgiving dinner with heathen turkeys, unconverted hams, and all the heretical fixings.
Jesus told a parable about two men who went up to the temple to pray. I have a pretty good idea which one represents you, Erik. “Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou.”

That’s twice now I’ve read about “Baptist heresy” on this thread. Don’t you know that Baptists are the only people on earth who are NOT heretics? There you go violating the 8th Commandment and the commandment that is like the greatest commandment. You wicked rascals, you probably observe pagan holidays like Flag Day and National Talk Like a Pirate Day. If I find your churches I’m going to come over and play “Amazing Grace” on the harmonica—on Mother’s Day. Anyone who wants to accompany me on the kazoo is welcome to tag along.
