It just seems to me, that God keeps on cookin' up these whoppers of hurricanes. They just seem to get worse and worse, and bigger and bigger and badder and badder.
Could it be God's punishment on this sinful nation to wake up the sinful??

Could Deuteronomy 28 apply?

Deuteronomy 28:20-21
The LORD shall send upon thee cursing, vexation, and rebuke, in all that thou settest thine hand unto for to do, until thou be destroyed, and until thou perish quickly; because of the wickedness of thy doings, whereby thou hast forsaken me.

The LORD shall make the PESTILENCE* cleave unto thee, until he have consumed thee from off the land, whither thou goest to possess it.

There will be a day, however, that they'll say "Lord, Lord"; but God will throw them into the Lake of Fire.

Matthew 7:22-23

I was just thinking if Noah hadn't made wine, he hadn't been laying around nude in his tent, senseless. Ham wouldn't have seen him like that, and Canaan wouldn't have been cursed.
