Abigal's progeny deftly warns: "D, I recommend you NOT get into a discussion with JD. He will try to snowjob you with a literal flurry of words, lots of words. When you sort through them and see where he's coming from, reply back to him, he will deny he ever said any such thing. "

I definitely respect your advice and will certainly heed it. I don't particularly care for fellows who portray God as some cruel, arbitrary, unjust deity that capriciously punishes his own innocent, "beloved" son in whom he claimed he "was well pleased" to allow "snow covered dung" to avoid "reaping what they have sown," in any case.

Abigal's progeny beautifully paints a picture of DEAD reformed theology: "It's all about me, me, me, mine, mine, and elect, and chosen, and saved forever, and free gift, and all these words they use like hermaneutics, exegesis, sovereignty, regeneration, justification, dry doctrine, mostly all false doctrine at that."

You know, this just may be the second most damning argument of reformed theology that I have ever come across. I have always found their rhetorical sermons rather dry (many here on sermonaudio fit into this category) and their entire service very cold and lifeless, ritualistic, and completely lacking in spirit (as well as spiritual gifts).

D, one more thing about the way JD posts.

Not only will JD deny he ever said such and such, but he will refuse to clarify what he meant to say or did say.

He will just keep calling you a liar.

Utter craziness and lunacy. Don't subject yourself to it is my advice.

JD, it doesn't matter what thread you are posting on. Nobody wants to talk to you or read your postings -- except perhaps Mark Lawless and I doubt he has time to read your blather either.

But he may call you Brother. I know he would never call me Sister.

You two deserve each other.

Can't we all just get along? I am for giving the ladies this survey thread.

Huh! I am for giving one to cheryl all to herself and she can talk to herself under all her various alias'. That should suit her since her rants are never on topic or constructive. But they are very emotional, which does nor surprise me.

D, I recommend you NOT get into a discussion with JD. He will try to snowjob you with a literal flurry of parsed words, lots of words. When you sort through them and see where he's coming from, reply back to him, he will deny he ever said any such thing. When he's getting backed into a corner, he starts posting a slew of irrelevant Bible verses and ends with "God's Word is wonderful! Now you see!"

You'll get absolutely nowhere with him, as others can attest. You'll be going back through all his old posts trying to find his quotes, and even then you'll have to repost them at least 10 times before he stops calling you a liar.

He just slings his crazy heresies around all over the board. Most people don't read his posts, so he gets away with it, and nobody wants to try to discuss anything with him because he'll call them Satanic, liars, slanderers, and all kinds of other names, not nice.

He is not a nice person.

I've been posting on SA for several years, and if you have any questions about JD just ask me because I've been through it all with him. He kind of fools people at first because he puts in remarks like "God's Word is wonderful!" and "God is always exact and specific in His Word."

Yeah, God is, but JD isn't. So don't be fooled by his shapeshifting.

Cindy, I like your point about the woman who washed the feet of Jesus, dried them with her hair, annointed his feet with expensive oil.

The New Age Antinomians posting here don't mention Jesus much at all, think salvation is based on how much punishment the Father supposedly dished out on Jesus, rather than the perfect sacrifice Jesus offered of Himself.

Relationship is not important. It's dry doctrine that proves you're saved forever somehow.

It's all about me, me, me, mine, mine, and elect, and chosen, and saved forever, and free gift, and all these words they use like hermaneutics, exegesis, sovereignty, regeneration, justification, dry doctrine, mostly all false doctrine at that.

The Holy Spirit is only referred to as being the magic ingredient to salvation. That's it.

D, if you are not Cheryl.

Choose any of those topics in the list for discussion. If the topic you choose does not fit under church government, I will move with you to the proper survey question and we will discuss it. That will give you an opportunity to prove, without a doubt, how that I am a heretic as you claim.

Baptismal regeneration is a fine first topic. I have stong convictions on the subject of baptism and I have given them here before. Several people who are here now was involved in conversations where I stated those convictions. None of them have accused me of believing in baptismal regeneration. Cheryl is the only one.

But you do not have to choose baptism. Choose something else from the list if you like, but lets put this heresy baby to bed once and for all.

Let me know please or forever hold your slander!

Abigal's progeny proclaims: "That's right, and JD is the biggest heretic on this bulletin board, and also the biggest shapeshifting chamelion as he dodges away from his wicked heresies when people call him on them."

Well done character sketch of JD! I didn't know about the baptismal regeneration heresy. I shouldn't be surprised, though.

You left one 'heresy' out.

I said God does not call women preachers!

How about including that in the list!

"The fact is we are dealing with doctrinal issues here among those who claim to be Christians and love God and his word. There are about 1000 people on line here at any given time and who knows how many read the comments. All who do are influenced by our words and our attitudes."

That's right, and JD is the biggest heretic on this bulletin board, and also the biggest shapeshifting chamelion as he dodges away from his wicked heresies when people call him on them.

JD's heresies:

1. Antinomianism

2. He's a Scofieldite, Left Behinder

3. Hyper Dispensationalism which leads to hundreds of "sub heresies" as JD reinterprets and segments scripture, changing the rules and putting the scriptures off-limits to Christians as he labels 99 percent of the Bible "for the Jews" and redefines the rest of scripture according to his version of "context."

4. Baptismal regeneration

5. Heresies on the Trinity, the divinity of Christ regarding who Jesus was and is and always has been

6. He's a misogynist who twists verses of scripture to say women shouldn't be able to post on Sermon Audio, as you can tell his quote above.

He's a shapeshifter, a chamelon, a wolf in sheep's clothing on this forum, and hardly anybody takes him seriously.

"Because you hate women."

Another judge of the heart!

And

"Do you seriously believe that Yamil did all those people any good to bring them to a profession of faith?"

Another judge of the heart!

When Yamil is preaching the gospel, there is a far better opportunity for the hearers to be saved and a far greater likelihood that they did than the efforts of the naysayers and critics who have not yet given any testimony that they themselves have even given an effort to preach to anyone but are probably waiting for God to tell some lonely, miserable, lost pilgrim that they are one of the elect so he can regenerate them so he can give them the gift of faith. Salvation is of the Lord you know without any human input!

Preach it Yamil and may God recieve the glory for every salvation!

I will make one more comment and then I am getting out of my 4 walled prison to go to Buffalo for the day.

First of all I want to say that Michael from Endicott NY was the only man who took the initiative to email me and thank me for my testimony. He has been about the only one who has shown what it is to love and respect someone and to be a servant. In my opinion, he is the one that should lead this blog thread. He has shown himself to be mature unlike many others.

There is one illustration that I will leave with you that some may ponder, some may not. You do not have to because yes I am a woman. When the adulterous woman came in to see Jesus at the pharisees and sadducees house, they all called her a sinner and that see had no place being there. Jesus said, "wait a minute....let her stay" and then He said, "when I came into your house you did not wash my feet, nor dried them with your hair, nor annointed them with oil. But this woman has. Though her sins are many, she is forgiven because she loveth much".

He who would be first amoung you shall be the last and he who amoung you will be the last, he shall be the first.

Just a lesson on true leadership. You must be a servant first to be considered a leader with authority. And that is scriptural.

I hope you all have a blessed

Cindy,

I certainly would not have the discussion go into the realm of it is us against you or men against women. God has given us our roles and they are intended to compliment each other, not pit one against the other.

As far as this being a blog site, I would agree but because it does not have any structure, it seems to me it would create a special problem for us all for several reasons I will not mention here. The fact is we are dealing with doctrinal issues here among those who claim to be Christians and love God and his word. There are about 1000 people on line here at any given time and who knows how many read the comments. All who do are influenced by our words and our attitudes. Each of us, I suppose must determine if we are doing the will of God in what we do here.

My main purpose here is to shine some light on the errors of Calvinistic doctrines in hopes some would forsake it and some would be rescued from it. It is the least I can do.

It does not surprise me that I am not the most popular person on here.

BTW, I agree that women in the Bible are highly beloved and I desire to have that same attitude towards them.

Thank God for godly women! My mother was one!

Prayerful -- I don't know what Yamil told his audience, but if all he did was tell them they were sinners, and that Jesus died for their sins, and they could find forgiveness, be saved from their sins -- well, that's a good thing.

If he told them that this would mean they were forever saved if they would just do this one little thing (ie raise their hands) then that was a lie, a false promise.

We can only pray that God will send someone else along to witness to these people and fill in the gaps or straighten out the mistakes.

Surely God does want all those people to be saved, and God can certainly use Yamil along the way to get the job done. I think saved people need to be warned and discipled if possible, at least give them your business card and e-mail address, get theirs, follow up.

But it has to be a good thing when a Catholic decides to turn his faith away from trusting in his church or Mary or the Pope (ad nauseum) and turn it straight to Jesus for the salvation of his soul. We're told to witness and preach Jesus, and Yamil did as Scripture commands in the Great Commission.

Michael Hranek from Endicott , New York (are you the same as Mike from New York?) and Name Tagger

Do you seriously believe that Yamil did all those people any good to bring them to a profession of faith?

When are you people ever going to learn that there can be an infinite distance between profession and conversion.

You should learn not to count your chickens before they hatch. A false gospel like Yamil's arminian gospel can only produce wood, hay and stubble, unless God in his sovereignty overrules.

Conversion is the thing to aim at and insist on- and only God can do the changing. Don't assure anyone that they are Christians based merely on their profession unless you want unsaved and deluded professors!! Look for the fruits of conversion - and these are not always evident overnight!

We shall all discover in the end how many deluded professors this false gospel has sent to hell!

JD,

I am not one of those "feminist" nor do I think women should be in the pulpit and teaching over men. However scripture does indicate that women have been instrumental and have been instructive in the lives of men and Jesus gave great worth to women as well. I great real tired of this double standard stuff that it is getting too old. Besides this is just a blog site and whenever I have posted a comment it was never intended to tell a man what to do, God forbid!!! I am simply expressing my thoughts just like everybody else.

"God favors one above the other but because we need a sense of order and authority in our lives"......
Yes I do believe in order and chain of command but when men themselves do not not know how to properly love those "beneath them" all they appear to be is arrogant and evil and in love with themselves because of their so called authority. Their postion of power has gone to their heads.

As far as I can see throughout history it has been men in postions of authority that have abused their power with such evil that it is straight from the pit of Hell. It has been more men than women in those postions.

Michael Hranek,

I am not for the mistreatment of women!

The church (local) must address the problems and sins that immediately plague us. The feminization of society by social liberals is extended to christendom by religious liberals. The Scriptures, from beginning to end, addresses this issue.

We must be salt and light and because the church is so small and the world is so big, one might expect a violent reaction from the world, including the worldly church, if the church speaks too plainly about it!

The world would like to assimilate us. I am opposed to that.

JD,
They probably see the extremes because that is the way they've been treated.

For that matter if we only consider the female religious celebrities we are liable to overreact to women in general ourselves. Let's cut them some slack in this and even humbly consider any valid criticism of our own wrongs.

Bottom line we all need God's help to keep our eyes upon Jesus and in that we can know wonderful fellowship with anyone who is walking in the light as He Himself is in the light.
