Edgar Wood was called to the pastorate at what is now known as Free Grace Baptist in Belvedere, Kent in May 1944 at the age of 36. He served his Lord here as pastor up the the time of his *homecall in 1980*. He was well known by many as he evidently was an active participant at doctors meetings at Westminster Chapel. During his latter years his ministry was somewhat affected by the medication he was on for cancer.
