On Tuesday, July 5, Dr. John Whitcomb will be in Williamstown, Ky., to cut the ribbon to the Ark Encounter—Answers in Genesis’ life-size reconstruction of Noah’s Ark.
Dr. Whitcomb is the co-author, with Dr. Henry Morris, of The Genesis Flood, the groundbreaking book published in 1961 that has been credited as launching the modern Biblical creationism movement.
From the beginning of his work on that time-honored book—going back to the early 1950s—Dr. Whitcomb comes full circle as he helps to open up the ark. He also led in prayer in June of 2000 at the dedication of the land for the Creation Museum in Petersburg, Ky., and has been involved with the Ark Encounter from its very beginning.
Please pray for Dr. Whitcomb, and pray that God will use these historic events in a great way for His glory.
