Great Sermon! Wonderfully convicting message! Loved the worship intro as well.... thank you!
May the Lord be forever praised as we worship him and glorify his holy name! Blessed is your service to him.
Great Sermon! Pastor VanHeukelum, I have thoroughly enjoyed every part of this series and was struck by the beginning of this closing message with the though that '"I believe" the Lord loves your worship of him, equally as he does your service for him, and your heart.'
Blessings to you and your entire family of faith!
Great Sermon! Excellent series, Pastor Vanheukelum! Although sixteen years removed from the present day, it corroborates all that has been stirring within my heart as I am presently leaving a covenantal congregation and in search of a new family. God bless you!
Great Sermon! Finally, I caught up with you. Again you are hitytint the nail on the head. Keep it up Jesusn Christ is the key. to everything. He is the truth that sets me free,You are making it clear that He should be in all of our conversations. What an opportunity God has given us to be on the victory side. Yoiu are an eternal friend for you are a gift from God. Praying for you and Lynette is a joy.I hope every missionary hears this message, and church member. God bless yuu
The temptations of the world. A message about living in an impressive world, of which God's people wants to be part, a message about temptations and violating the standards of God. However, I do not agree with the preacher's interpretation here: he says Mordecai volunteered to send Esther to the palace for a life of success. I understand from the text that the girls were taken by authorities against their and their parents (or tutors) will.
Sovereign over history. God is sovereign over human affairs and history. He turns the history upside down and intervenes for the deliverance of His people.
Resolving problems. Internal problems in the church resolved by the wise counsel of the apostles lead by the Holy Spirit. There will be always problems in the church - but they can be addressed and resolved with wisdom from above.
Relationship with God. A message about the two parables in verses 1-14. When we are wronged by other, we can be assured that God will hear us and He will make justice. But when we are wrong, sinful, we must come before God with the attitude of the tax collector.
