“ Great Sermon! ” I found this sermon a good reminder of what we should stay focused on, especially with all that is going on around us. I also like that the pastor believes in the deeper Christian life but disappointed he hasn't been given the revelation of God's sovereign grace in election. I wish more people could marry both these biblical truths like Andrew Murray. Either way it was an encouragement.
“ Very Good ” I love learning about the cause and effect concerning the people of the Bible. It is frightening how much we selfishly test God. Very clear comparison of Sarah and Lot's wife.
“ Very Good Message ” This message goes along with my Bible reading this week and really opened up my thinking and understanding about those times and especially these times. THANK YOU!
“ Excellent Exposition; Used of God! ” Excellent point of only being able to count it all joy through the Holy Spirit's help. There's no way I could do this on my own when the trial is ongoing: a spouse (and a son) who are immature emotionally, cognitively, and spiritually. At close to 60, I don't know if spouse's heart is too hard at this point, but I pray for my sons' hearts - that they will be softened and sensitive to the Lord...and that in the meantime I am a good example and faithful to the commands that God has clearly given to me. Thank you for preaching God's Word!!!
“ Great Sermon! ” Listened a third time and then again with my wife. She said that this message is the best developed message on mercy we have heard. I agree. It has eternal ramifications.
