“ Thank you for the illumination!!!! ”
Thank you for this marvelous teaching, I trying to learn about the people of understanding in (Dan 11:33,34) and (Dan 12:10) and I was led to your message! I see it was 5 years ago, but it’s more “illuminating” even today, post-pandemic! Bless you!

“ The Best I’ve Heard! ”
I’ve listened to many sermons and not all in their entirety because of their lack of sufficient treatment for the subject at hand; apostasy in the church for today. Dr. Woods’ wisdom in dealing with this grave subject as the infiltration is massive in the church today gives sufficient insight as to where we are headed in this latter dispensation of time. My grieving at what's happening at Asbury University is a sure sign of a massive sweep of apostasy, whereas I am equally grieved at the well-known speakers and theologians who’ve given in saying, “This is a revival going on in the church which will hopefully spread like a wildfire.” I hope not because the church of today is already in a great deal of trouble. I personally do not believe in this dispensation we will experience a great worldwide revival, the greatest revivals will only take place during the tribulation after the church has left (Rev. 7:13-14), and when Israel mourns as she recognizes her beloved Messiah. (Zechariah 12:10-14) Amen, Amen!

Very pertinent and instructive sermon here.
It is encouraging to see so many thriving
Christian groups that are leading people to
the Lord. On behalf of one of the many
churches in Sugar Land, Texas, which may be
located at https://lhhouston.church/lhsl/, I
wish you continued success in your work. I
also offer my support. As you tend to the
sheep and lead them to God's mercy, may God
reward you each day.

“ Great Sermon! ”
As I was listening to this sermon. The thoughts I kept thinking about was, “The importance of not adding or subtracting from God’s Word”. When will we learn, His word is pure and perfect in every respect. Father, may we be careful students with your Word. Amen

Virtual sermons, in my opinion, are a
revolutionary trend that is now influencing
many people. Do you agree? Social media may
be used for good, and God bless our flexible
churches! I really miss going to this
church! One of Sugar Land TX's brightest and
liveliest churches, sparkling with the light
of Christ! I adore this church and will
truly miss it. We had to relocate, which is
a good thing because there are other
wonderful churches nearby, including
https://lhhouston.church/lhsl/. I absolutely
need to get back to you as soon as possible!

“ Praise God for Clear Teaching ”
Thank you for clearly teaching on this most important subject of "the what and how" of evangelism. Thank you also for pointing out the error of Calvinism which has become so pervasive in these last days. It is difficult to find a church that has not been influenced by Calvinism in some way or another. May we faithfully dispatch the singular, most important job that God has given us all as believers - sharing the gospel while entrusting to the Holy Spirit those with whom we share Christ.

“ A somewhat different view ”
I have heard vs 14-18 explained this way, "the issue isn’t about a single person and how their faith (or lack of) effects themselves, but how their faith may or may not affect another." So the "him" in verse 14 isn't implied to the individual, but towards the one who is in need of mercy. I believe the Greek allows the "him" to be used either towards the individual or another. Therefore, the individual's works of faith may save (deliver, protect, preserve, do well) to another in need, or if the person lacks the outworking of their faith it's not going to save (deliver, protect, preserve, do well) the one in need. The basic idea is “Can my faith profit another? Or, do I need to demonstrate the faith I have in order for another to profit?” To me, this fits right in with the context of the chapter as it deals with the believer's relationship toward others .
