“ Great Sermon! ”
I was in the nursery with Ainsley the day you gave this sermon. Not feeling well I didn’t go to church today, so it gave me the opportunity to listen to this. What an excellent message, Kevin. Thank you for your insight into this passage. I’ve never prayed so fervently as I did for you and Jennifer for her healing and, though I trust the Lord’s purpose, I was greatly disappointed that He did not heal her. Your perspective & faith are healing and encouraging to me. I remember a local Vineyard pastor published an article I think in the Christian times after the death of Keith Green that God had made a mistake. I thought it was shameful but understood he was speaking out of his pain and disappointment. I prayed for Ted Turner as you mentioned his response to the death of his sister. May the Lord touch his heart. 🙏

“ Great Sermon! ”
Wow, Kevin! These two messages were excellent! Loved hearing the background of textual criticism on this passage. I learned a lot. I’m a student of Dr Harry Sturz. I had the honor of studying under him for one of my two years of Greek and one semester of textual criticism. A year or two after I graduated, our stinks was published by Baker. He argues that the Majority Text should not be cast aside as Westport & Hort argue. As a result I use the New King James. I imagine the oldest readings may not always preserve the most complete readings. Though I know his view was ridiculed by Talbot textual critics. I wonder if Jesus wrote the names & maybe even the sins committed by the accusers & their family members in the dirt where it was not a permanent record but a reminder of sins they overlook?

Another great message, Kevin - thank you! Our Sunday school teacher in Riverside was Dr Scott Key (descendant of Francis Scott Key). He was the philosophy professor at Cal Baptist University until he retired last year. He & his wife now operate the CS Keeis Study Center in Massachusetts. Their oldest son had some 20 surgeries on his eyes befor e reached the age of 20. I told him I believed God was making him into a man of great vision. I believe that of you also. Along those lines, have you and the elders considered a radio ministry of your sermons? Your messages along with your great radio voice needs to reach beyond Providence Church. A former pastor of our once said of this passage that Jesus not only healed the man’s eyes, but his brain also, which had never previously been able to interpret signals from his eyes. I have a cassette tape if Dr Fructenstein who said the Rabbis taught that Messiah would heal a man blind (or mute, I can’t remember) from birth. I’ll see if I can find the tape and confirm.

Another great message! I agree completely. I have difficulty loving homosexuals who are actively unrepentant . I pray the Lord will help me.

Wow, Kevin! This was outstanding! God bless you. We were not able to attend today so I searched and found you on this app (which I’ve downloaded) and I randomly picked this sermon to listen to this morning. I never knew any of this about Tyndale. What a hero for the kingdom! Interesting that Job doesn’t ask why the righteous suffer, but he does ask, “ How can a man be made right before God?” (25:4)

“ Insightful Sermon! ”
We can learn much about today's problems with our churches by seeing what took place in early Christian times with their churches. The Gospel is not taught in many churches today, and our people are getting weaker with Satan putting deception into what we're hearing.

“ Strong Sermon! ”
Where to you stand as a strong Christian? This message gives us a great profile of one who stands strong in our Lord and Savior. It also points out the weakness of so many churches in preaching the Gospel. It would be great if this message were preached every few weeks instead of some of the empty messages being heard.

This is an excellent presentation of a great Christian that is almost unknown to us. After you hear this, it can become a motivation to read a detailed life of this great man.

“ Excellent Sermon! ”
This is a very clear summary of Martin Luther's life that started the Reformation. It covers the important parts of Luther's life and is an excellent start to begin to know him better.
