Thank you! I am so grateful to have only recently come upon these podcasts of Spurgeon’s sermons. I started at the beginning and have listened to 2-3 per day coming to this one today. What a blessing it was for me to hear that heaviness is needful for me to become more like Christ, rather than as I was surmising, that this heaviness and distress that I have been experiencing for no apparent reason, must be due to some fault in me that I am unable to rise above it. Also, I appreciate Pastor Walker’s reminder to speak truth to ourselves at such times. The truth is that though I feel desolate at times, I wouldn’t still be hungering and thirsting for righteousness after more than 50 yrs., were it not that the Lord sustains me.
Informative and of significant interest Spurgeon's take about that particular ongoing pestilence shades light about the fabric of society of Victorian England
Great Sermon! I love listening to Austin preach.
I know Jeremy is good and is hitting the big time with lots of publicity, but I can't understand why Austin isn't famous too. He is one of my favorite preachers to listen to. All his sermons are interesting and spiritually powerful. I look forward to every new sermon he posts, and he always satisfies. All of Austin's sermons are such a blessing.
Great Sermon! A disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord. Disciples shall drink indeed the Lord's cup. When I read the Bible years ago,I was very puzzled and ask the Lord:'Why did kings have everything, like power, wealth, etc. And priests have pretty much of that. But prophets get only persecution? Is that fair?' The Lord answered:'Because they know the more precious ONE'.
We need preachers who not know anything, save Jesus Christ and Him crucified.
Real understating of Jesus Christ Pastor clearly explain centurion understating about himself and Jesus Christ. also explains how we come to Christ with humiliation.
Thanks Pastor.

Great Sermon! It’s preaching and teaching like this that make one want to run with the gospel.
His spirit is like fire shooting up through your bones and you want everybody to know God and his salvation.
