“ Dammit ” I can’t believe I was led to your sermons about a yr ago in 2022. I guess it’s in God’s timing but yes keep preaching brother keep preaching. I’m sure I was ready for this until now. “ I needed this ” This helped me more than I could explain to you. I was ready to die and just leave this world bitter and angry at God and my fellow man and this has freed me from that.
“ Wrath does not produce repentance ” That was the apex of the message for me. It’s not my wrath towards my kids that brings repentance it is the grace of God. The gospel leads to repentance not wrath.
Parents listen to this! It’s so important and something I fail at everyday. We need Christ fathers.
“ Great Sermon! ” I thought I was going to hear a different message, but I heard what God wanted me to hear! I was in tears! This message on worship is powerful, timely, and awe inspiring ! Thank you! Thank you, Lord, Jesus for Voddie’s expositions of your Word! God has used these messages to change my life!
“ Great Sermon! ” The best teaching I've had on environmentalism. Thank you for putting words and scripture to what we know is true, but couldn't figure out how to think it through and say it. Excellent
“ Wonderful marriage message ” I love the part where Voddie imitates various men wanting out from marriage and he just says suck it up and love your wife.
“ Heart piercing sermon ” Such a powerful message. Mr. Baucham brings up serious arguments for the permanence of marriage , especially near the end where he says no Parent would ever teach their child that if they marry and it doesn’t work out he can just quit and marry someone else. Marriage is beautiful when seen as Christ loving his sinful spouse . Every Christian should listen to this message.
“ Great Sermon! ” Nothing here of martydom. The mark we have is spiritual (Rev.22.3).
The first resurrection is rising with Christ (Col.3.1) at the Cross, a body of the church that leaves behind the body of the world.
The second is bodily resurrection. Without the first resurrection no person can be saved.
The book of the revelation of Jesus Christ covers the entirety of history, from the fall to the end of the world.
There is one way of interpretation.
1). Metaphorical
2). Historical
3). Doctrinal
The illustrations do not run chronologically, the preacher is correct here.
“ Classic Voddie ” I would not expect anything less from Voddie and how he explains these verses. I am thank to God that He raises Shepherds up through the ages to minister to us and bring us the whole counsel of God.
