“ Proofs from Ashbel Green's autobiography ”
The last 10 minutes of this lecture shows from a primary historical source how undercurrents anchored on the humanistic ideology driving the French revolution in the eighteenth century negatively infiltrated, tinted and influenced the course and times of the American war of independence. Every American should be aware off of such facts to better understand their present as much as their future.

“ Great truths. ”
Good way of reducing things to their essence: to be centered on self or to be centered on other. And to glorify God or to rebel against Him.

The Biblical View of the US Constitution

“ Speaking of the U.S. Constitution ”
It is important to remember 2 Peter 1:11 in times where the American Republic and its U.S. Constitution are highly exalted, even in churches today. It is also worth noting Psalm 145:13, Daniel 4:3, Daniel 4:34, Daniel 7:14, and Daniel 7:27. The American Republic and its Constitution and Declaration of Independence are temporal and will vanish away. The Kingdom of Jesus Christ is eternal and will last forever. Our true allegiance is to The Everlasting Kingdom of Israel, not any temporal nation on this Earth.

Glad to hear this reminder that God uses all types of people to accomplish His purposes. Not the most educated, articulate, charismatic. How easy it is to forget Jesus used fishermen to advance the Kingdom.

“ A Response To The False Gospel of Yankee Churches ”
It appears that Yankee churches are propagating a false gospel of works salvation. It is great to have a Protestant Reformation Heritage even in the Confederate South.

“ His Final Sermon on Earth ”
My father preached this sermon in Leland, MS on Sunday morning March 9, 1987. He then drove straight through to Pensacola, FL where my husband and I were camping for our spring break. Daddy and my husband fished all day Tuesday after Daddy rested from his long drive. We went to a great seafood restaurant that night and had a great time of fun and fellowship. The next morning when my husband went to call him for breakfast, he discovered that Daddy had gone to join his beloved wife, my mother, during the night. He was where he wanted to be (camping at the state park, and he had spent his last hours on earth with my husband and me! Heaven’s gain was our loss that spring break, but we do not mourn as those who have no hope! We will see him and hear him again! Meanwhile, this wonderful website allows me to reconnect with him in a special way.....I am blessed!

Stand Up for Dixie
Dr. Leonard L. Haynes

“ Finally! ”
Finally, an African American (a historian to boot) who stands up for the Confederacy. You could drown in the evidence that the Civil War was over the rightful role of the States. On another topic, people should take the time to compare the religious beliefs of the Confederate generals to those of the Union generals. Also, many Union generals can be traced back to socialism. Supposedly, Karl Marx even stated his approval of what Lincoln (Dishonest Abe) was doing.
