“ Interesting Sermon! ” Makes some good points about the inconsistency of the strict Sabbatarian position adopted by some - the wording of the WCF and related documents is unfortunate around this point.
Ignores the creation ordinance of a day of rest - says Adam, Noah, Job etc did not have a day of rest which is implausible though not clearly stated in Scripture AFAIK.
Is very polemical - accuses those who believe in a Christian Sabbath of blaspheming God.
Doesn’t seem to realise that the 4th commandment as understood in the Christian context is strong proof of our sinfulness - not one of us is able to keep a Sabbath to perfection - Jesus made the point that “the Sabbath is made for man, not man for the Sabbath” implying He knows that we humans will never be able to keep the strict interpretation - it shows us our sinfulness.
Seems to conflate strict sabbatarian views with just holding to a day of rest principle.
Ignores the NT examples of God’s people gathering on the first day of the week, doesn’t explain what the “Lord’s Day” is or even mention it. Yet implies keeping “days” is what Christians who hold to a day of rest are doing. IOW holding a day of rest is being ‘under the Law’ for salvation - this seems to be the implication.

“ An odd Sermon! ” Repentance is not credited to man but it is a gift and work of God. Acts 5:31, Acts 11:18, 2Timothy 2:25, Romans 2:4.This passage in James 2 is well explained without contradicting other passages in the Bible by this preacher John w. Robbins in his sermon "on James 2:14-22".
