What a blessing… What a blessing to hear Dr. Bob Sr. preach a chapel message. What it must have been like to learn about the Lord through the Word and under his ministry.
Great Sermon! Pastor you were sort of right about David Warfield. He didn't commit suicide, but he was found guilty of murdering a lesbian couple. Guess poor David/Dana just didn't find his happiness. For a sermon that's 24 years old, this was WAY ahead of it's time. But still very timely for today.
Great Sermon! Some Christians think you can lose your salvation. It follows, then that they believe they have to do something to keep their salvation which is a misunderstanding common today.
Here's the reality.
The Father gave the Son a commission:
John 6:39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
Here's what Jude had to say:
Jude 1:24-15 Now unto HIM THAT IS ABLE to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
The Son is charged with the job of preserving that which belonged to the Father and was given to the Son to redeem in time. Jude says He is able. I agree.
Great Sermon! One of the best sermons I’ve heard on this text, that will be reverberating around my mind forever and I know I’ll be listening to it again & again! A true preacher in the true sense of the word! Very thankful I stumbled across this 🙌
Agape: No Intentional Ill-Doing Against Others In Romani 13 (Romans 13), particularly Romani 13:10 (Romans 13:10), we are told that Agape does not commit intentional ill-doing against others, therefore agape is the fulfilling of the royal law. In order to possess this agape, we must never seek to commit any intentional ill-doing against others. Unfortunately, because of our lack of sinless purity, we have committed ill-doing against others, including lying to others, stealing from others, and coveting the effects of others as well as dishonoring parental guardians, intentionally contemplating murder and adultery (everyone would confess that they have committed these offenses). There are other examples of offenses which violate The Royal Law of Agape aside from dishonoring parental guardians, committing murder, committing adultery, stealing from others, lying to others, and coveting the effects of others. One example is pridefully viewing one's own position as being "superior" to that of others. This podcast should clarify what Agape is to others so that others will properly understand what Genuine Agape is.
Thank you. Thank you for speaking God’s Word into my day. I knew God wanted me to be more thankful, but I need to constantly be reminded that He is sovereign and nothing comes to me without His approval. God bless.
THANK YOU I needed this message today. I'm in my senior year of Bible college. I am engaged to the right man.(we are long distance which can be difficult)I am a product of God's grace through the bus ministry in my home church. My Pastor always told me that there at 3 things that could rob me of Joy 1. Circumstances 2. People 3. Things. He was right.(unsurprisingly because he usually is) Right now, I am struggling financially, academically, and spiritually. I have isolated myself from others and blamed them for not reaching out to me. Anonymously one of the girls put together a gift bag for me which was very kind and lifted my spirits. Unfortunately that was temporary they're just "things". I realize now that what I need to do is to refocus all of my hope in the eternal. PRAISE GOD FOR HIS FORGIVENESS AND PATIENCE WITH ME! ❤️
Great Sermon! I just wanted to express my appreciation for your extraordinary insight into this passage. I’ve gleaned more from just listening to your teaching this message. I must say, it gave me more insight into this beautiful story of Christ’s unique compassion to not to shun such a one whose condition kept her a constant prisoner in her circumstance.
Our Lord displayed His love for me while I was once unclean in my sins until His blood’s purifying power healed me making me as well as others pure and holy before the Father. God bless you!
Thank you sir! Thank you. That was a message I needed to hear, and if the fact that I played it three times is any evidence, it seems to be something my flesh does not want to except. Thank you again.
Great Sermon! This is a very great sermon. I was very blessed by the speaker's declaration arguing that God uses Man surrended, Man who is His servant. In a university, this declaration and further arguments during the preaching are interesting to remain these academic people that they must be surrended of God, be His servant in addition to have a PhD, to be used by Him.
