“ A unique occasion ” This is a memorable and Christ-centered mourning to watch full of devotion and love, when over a church along with a thousand people honoured and remembered a life well spent in Christ's service.
“ Bethany's farewell to a great servant of God ” It was pleasure to have sat under the Rev Elliott's entire faithful ministry for 43 years in Bethany Fpc . We will miss his wise council, his genuine friendship and his faithful preaching. Looking forward to that glad reunion day.
“ Honour to whom honour is due ” Blessed is the memory of a man who faithfully served his generation, and whose life has made a difference as an indefatigable leader, a prudent and gracious gentleman, and as a forbearing witness for truth.
“ Very Edifying ” Discovered this preparing myself to teach a series on revival. The irony was that Pastor Millen in his introduction stated that he felt intimidated to preach in front of the homiletics professor. Though homiletics and pathos are not synonymous if this professor had just one student who preached this well, that alone would IMHO render him a success. I needed this for my own edification. But above all, we really desire God's Spirit in our day. I look forward to hearing a lot more from this dear pastor.
“ Great Sermon! ” So refreshing to hear a "Calvinistic" pastor actually believe the pure words of Holy Writ as found in Revelation chapter 20. Most/many folks disagree with scripture because they are disciples of Augustin of Hippo and replacement
Theology,instead of pure scripture. God The Holy Ghost, who inspired John to write thus wonderful Book says 7 times there will be a 1,000 year reign of Christ toward the end-times. Amen!

I highly recommend this sermon and the rest of the series to anyone who wants to know about the events preceding our Lord's return
“ Very encouraging - I highly recommend a listen. ” This is a lovely encouraging word. Have listened to it several times now. Each time, the message is still as encouragaging as the first time I heard it. I keep coming back to it when I start getting impatient for The Lord to act.
