Great lessons. Very good the observations about the interpretation of the parables. We must take care not to transform a parable in an allegory. Good and solemn the four lessons from the text.
God the Father. I listened to this sermon and I found many good things in it. But, based on 2 Cor. 1:22, I think that the Father does the sealing, sealing us with the Holy Spirit, and not that the Holy Spirt does the sealing.
Great power. When we are walking with the Lord, the Lord gives us the power to go through everything He designs for us, in His great plan. He is with us even when He is not taking away affliction. With 2 good illustrations from the lives of the Covenanters.
Believing the Word. Very good message, discoling signs of unbelief in the Bible in the lives of professing Christians. We should believe what God said, not what people said.
Great Sermon! As a Christian it's actually quite sad to read many of these negative comments. If an unbeliever were to come across these comments, I doubt they would sense the love of Christ. I would confess that I believe the gifts of the Holy Spirit are active today, and I listened to this sermon in order to hear the other side and challenge me own beliefs. Rather than attacking each other let's be quick to listen and slow to speak.
where are the men? I pray that God will bless this message to all that hear and be pleased to give us men that protect and guide the sheep from the wolves of false religion and compromise. Give us men that will "come up hither" and not seek the things of their own but will lay down their lives as Christ laid down his life -
Great reminder. Oh, the world need to know that God is Lord! The Church needs to be reminded and to know that God is the Lord! And I need to experience again with power that God is the LORD!
Great distinction. Very good the distinction between the two kinds of intercession: the subjective one and the objective one. If our salvation would depend on the first, we would be never sure that the wrath of God is ever propitiated. It is interesting that Eastern Orthodox and Catholic theology introduced the mediation of Mary, as a kind of "Big Mama", who interceeds with her son - but on what basis? She has nothing to present, but a "motherly heart"...
Great encouragement. This was really encouraging! God will continue to work in His Church and in His people for His Name's sake and because the covenant with His chosen people. Christ is interceeding for us and the Holy Spirit is working in us and teaching us. What a great comfort!
Faithfulness. We must take care of the message we preach and to the motives with which we preach. There are preachers who preach with wrong motives. But, praise the Lord, you can preach with the right motives: we see this example in Paul.
