“ Great Sermon! ” Dr, Fernandes offers a good introduction to an interesting, but much abused topic. I recommend 'The Rising Beast' series for all concerned Christians. As Christians reaching out to non-believers, we can use this information -what I call eschatological apologetics- to persuade others to come to Christ and to convince them of the veracity of Bible prophecy, e.g. the 'ten horns' of Daniel 7:23-24 and Revelation 17:12-13, ten regional blocs now forming throughout the world; RFID biochip technology called VeriChip of Applied Digital Solutions, pointing to the forthcoming mark of the beast; earthquakes increasing exponentially in magnitude since the '90s; the rise of the New World Religion with such religious leaders as Episcopalian Bishop William Swing and Yona Metzger, the Chief Rabbi of Israel, leading the effort to create an United Religions Organization. All these things are concurrently developing in our time. Coincidence? I think not.
“ Great Sermon! ” Thank you Dr. Fernandes for correctly identifying the 'Ten Horns' of Daniel and Revelation. It is my hope that more Evangelical pastors and laypersons will also pick up on this remarkable eschatological development. This is the first time in world history that the entire world is being arranged into ten regional economic and political blocs. Is a major Bible prophecy on the verge of fulfillment? Are these the 'Ten Horns'?:

“ Good Radio Show ” I really enjoyed the radio host Fernandes' interview with Tal. I have an old copy of Tal Brooke's book, 'When The World Will Be As One' and 'Avatar of Night'. As a former practioner of TM, I find Tal as an inspiration for those of us who left Eastern religious practices for the only God-Man and Savior, Jesus Christ.
“ Great Sermon! ” consideration of early church teacher's meanings understood might help perception of the word's reality in our present application, note woe unto you for looking to the world for what is to come...
“ Interesting ” The audio quality was poor and this sermon was hard to hear online (fades in and out and plays with feedback). The subject is vital and it is one that needs to be explored. Although all of the individuals associated with the Word-Faith movement are not false teachers, many of the most visible ones are misleading millions with unscriptual teachings and practices. Since many of the TV evangelists are from this movement, this topic is underadressed in our churches today.
“ Great Sermon! ” I listened to the first lecture and found it educational, so I was naturally lured to this lecture and, again, was not disappointed. Every devout Christian should listen to this lecture series. Overall rating : Thumbs up!
“ Great Sermon! ” The various and sometimes contradictory explanations of Gnosticism that I have heard recently, including the Dan Brown version contained in his Da Vinci Code novel, left me more than a little confused. I would like to take the time here to thank Dr. Fernandes for providing some great guiding insight and clarification into what Gnosticism really teaches. His accurate description of the anti-Christian tenets of Gnostic beliefs was especially helpful.
“ Excellent Sermon! ” Does a great job laying out and describing the differences in and biblical inconsistencies the three view of the millenium bring.
“ Great Sermon! ” This lecture series is outstanding. He goes deep into the topic, covers all the main points and seals the listener's attention with an engaging speaking style that doesn't go over the top with phoney preacher inflections.
“ Thumbs Up! ” Excellent! Just what I've wanted to hear -an indepth sermon on endtime events from a premil AND post-trib position! I couldn't handle anymore Tim Lahaye!
“ Solid And Organized! ” This is good stuff! Dr. Fernandes has put together a series that is both organized and instructional; it is full of historical evidence showing the true view of Jesus, Son of God and the countless, historical errors of Dan Brown's anti-Christian novel.
“ Great Sermon! ” Thank you for this message regarding Islam. I knew some of their beliefs and ways, but you really helped me have a better understanding. May God bless you.
“ Sermon! Rev 1 ” I would have to lean to the Preterist view. The message was given to the people of that day, and what was going to happen was to happen shortly, quickly. and so went out to the seven churches that were contemporaries of John.Throughout the new testament talk of them being in the last days(Of the Jewish covenant system,judgement,destruction of Jerusalem was clearly taught. Jesus said to his disciples that they would not finish going to all the cities of Israel before seeing him coming in his kingdom. Jesus coming in Judgement was no different than when God came in Judgement many times in the old testament.Much more could be said and explained so check out more on Preterism and you will be surprised.The bereans checked to see if what Paul was saying was true and so should should we.If you take an honest look at Preterism and scripture interpeting scripture your faith will be deepened.Thanks and God bless you as we grow in grace and Knowlege.
“ Informative And Organized ” I agree with a few of the other commentators that this is probably the best overview on the DaVinci Code. Its the most informative lecture I have heard thus far on the topic -despite the speaker's occasional rambling. He still maintains enough focus to put together an otherwise excellent presentation.
“ Great Sermon! ” Pretty cool. Makes me think more about the different views on the rapture and it's timing around the Tribulation period. Entertaining to listen to with the Bronx-Brooklyn accent. He doesn't sound like a regular minister to me.
“ Helpful look into heresy ” I really appreciated Dr. Fernandes' overview of the DaVinci Code. All that I knew before was that it promoted untruths about Christianity. A friend at work has urged me to read it and is reading it now. I am glad to have heard some information with which I can try to counter the claims of the book. However, I found that Dr. Fernandes style a bit rambling (while still informative) and he sometimes ventures into mocking for the crazy beliefs of some -- these two aspects make it hard for me to recommend this as a listen for non-believers / more liberal Christians.
