“ Comment ” Perhaps the reason for which this passage remains one of the most problematic passages of Scriptures to interpret is because of the refusal to take it at face value instead of seeking to skirt around to accommodate modern practice.

If you are a true follower of Lord Jesus Christ, your real self will be revealed. If you are a half-way follower, you are living a lie with yourself. There is no parttime follower of Christ Jesus -- it's all the way or go the other way. The Lord is my Savior and I try my best to carry my cross daily, but I stumble at times and He lifts me up, but I keep going with Him. The effort can be difficult but the reward will be full. I thank Christ Jesus for dying for my sins and thank the Holy Spirit for being in me and in leading me on my path with the Lord. A penetrating message that most preachers are afraid to present in their church, much to the loss of his listeners. May God reach out to them in His own way and lead them to salvation.

“ No Faith PLUS Works! ” Amen to Dr Lawson for preaching so clearly on this important topic. We are so biblically illiterate that we do not recognize the 'another gospel' and the finite seriousness of it. Woe to any of us who preach 'Faith PLUS Works' - the Roman Catholic church, the Christianized 12-Step ministries, the unequally yoking of the Gospel with any man-made or man-centered theologies, traditions, philosophies and psychologies. Let them be accursed Paul warns - we must repent now, turn from our sin and turn to the One - the Only One - Who died for our sins - Jesus Christ. There is no time after we die. This is serious!
