Born of God or cursed Again brother you have packed the mission statement of the Bible into another powerful 5 minute discourse, really nothing more needs to be said.
Yet I look forward to your next gospel snippet... Jesus’s word is always life- shakingly refreshing to believers.
God bless you brother!
Truth shall set you free Christ is the Gospel He is the Only Way, Truth and Life, His blood Alone, no prayer, no religion, no creed, no water baptism...
The Bible is summarized in just 2 words
“But God” (Who is Christ and Holy Spirit)
Amen brother David and amen brother John UK from Wales!
Interesting Series! I'm very glad to have found this series, as it touches upon the very thing that I am researching and getting to understand better. I'm also glad that someone has taken the trouble to define their terms, particularly the biblical principle of 'sanctification', which many do not realise has two separate uses in the Bible. I'm looking forward to going through this series, and learning more about the ways of God. Thank you brother.
Divine Compassion! Once again, the compassion from heaven is revealed in the healing of the blind man at Bethsaida. I like the way Brother David refuses to spiritualise every single aspect of the account, but takes the main points, and gets them across very well.
Big Deliverance! It is no small thing to be delivered from the dominion, the control, of the devil. And all are under such until God releases the prisoners and sets them free in Christ Jesus. Praise the Lord for great grace.
The Way, The Truth, The Life! A Christ-centred ministry always makes much of the Lord Jesus Christ; this is why I am getting so blessed by listening to Brother David Gay. His messages are full of Christ.
Good preaching! In the text are found two sorts of people: "Those who have been born into God's family do not make a practice of sinning, because God's life is in them. So they can't keep on sinning, because they are children of God. So now we can tell who are children of God and who are children of the devil. Anyone who does not live righteously and does not love other believers does not belong to God." (1 John 3:9-10 NLT) All of us are either one or the other. Which?
Blessed Hope! Hope for the worst of sinners; out and out sinners on the one hand, churchified, respectable sinners on the other. All can be washed clean, sanctified and justified, by calling on the name of the Lord. AMEN BROTHER! This is also my experience. Praise the Lord for such joy in believing.
Great Encouragement! "For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God's children". Romans 8:16. Here is the assurance designed by God when he declares anyone justified and adopted. His Spirit testifies and affirms our adoption, praise God.
More encouragements! Not by prayers, tears, church attendance, works, baptism. But this access is through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, trusting solely in him. When sinners are quickened by the Spirit, the gospel becomes clear and simple: Jesus has done it all. Praise God!
5 minutes of pure Gospel I highly recommend brother David’s Gospel discourses and snippets, brilliantly illustrated and incredibly concise and delivered with such heart that
God is blessed!
Witness of the Spirit! Another encouraging message, which separates the quickening work of the Spirit from the testimony of the Spirit which causes us to cry, "Abba, Father."
Great Sermon! Sons (or children) of God through faith in Jesus Christ, by spiritual baptism. It is the glorious gospel of God's grace. Yes indeed. And God bless you too, Patti in USA. It is thanks to your commenting that I came across the ministry of David Gay and his presence on SA, which suits me perfectly, as I cannot concentrate for too long.
