“ Great Sermon! ” Such a great sermon for those especially who are severely afflicted. I used not to be able to hear any sermon on Job, back in the 1980's but now it is different, after another 30 years of illness and disabilities. Pastor Chalan brings out so much that is edifying, and helpful to anyone going through great trials.
"The righteous also shall hold on his way and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger." Job 17 v. 9
“ A very edifying sermon ” Good to be encouraged to keep following the Lord Jesus Christ and abide in prayer. God answers prayer and helps in the way.
Hebrews 13:5-6
(5) Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
(6) So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.
“ Great Sermon! ” This is a beautiful, comforting sermon for the saints of God. Pastor Chalan has a true Pastor's heart for the love of God's sheep. The message is so plain that there is a beautiful resting place near to the heart of God, in Jesus Christ, our beloved Lord and Saviour.
I was very distressed today, but after hearing this lovely sermon, it has comforted and settled me trusting in the Lord whatever may come.

“ Great Sermon! ” Such a powerful sermon, pastor, showing the humility of Christ
Behold the man. What a man! What a Redeemer. What a Saviour. Moved to tears at His sufferings for us.
“ Great Sermon! ” i sat in the congregation as a 13 year old when this was preached and probably though how long and tedious it was. I have just listened again, now I am 51. how very relevant today this message is. how glad I am that I know the Lord Jesus Christ and am in His kingdom, by his grace.

“ Great Sermon! ” A rare man of God today preaching the truth from the word of God with a childlike humble faith, thank God for preachers like Jonathan Evans!
“ Great salvation in Christ. ” Blessed blood of the covenant, which cleanses me from all my sins. All is grace, the grace of God in the Lord Jesus Christ! How thankful I must be for that!
“ Great joy. ” Oh, the eternal joy of being able to sing the song which only those can sing which experienced the salvation through the Lord Jesus Christ!
“ Great truth. ” I liked very much the idea that we must pray for revival not in the first place that people might be revived and saved, but that God might be glorified and His Name exalted. It is true, God is magnified when a man is born again and is living for the Lord, not for sin and the Devil. May God make us to pray fervently with correct motivation!
“ Righteousness. ” The Lord is righteous, His judgments are righteous, His commands are righteous, His people are justified and living in righteousness.
“ Great salvation in Christ. ” Salvation is only by the grace of our sovereign God, who puts in us a love for His Word and hatred for sin. Praise the Lord for separating us from sin and for making us His family.
“ Separated people. ” The Lord Jesus suffered so much and died for us, His people, in order to separate a people for Him, to live not for the world but for God.
“ Urgent need. ” This is a great and needed truth today: it is not enough our preaching and witness. We need the power and working of the Holy Spirit, the witness of the Spirit.
