“ Great Sermon! ” Such grievous truth. Leaves me incredulous of the graciousness of God that He would pluck me out of this vile, false religion that I was immersed in and comfortable in. Oh, what amazing grace that He would quicken me from the dead, regenerate me from above, reveal Christ to me as my Savior, Redeemer, my Substitutionary Atonement, my Propitiation absorbing God's wrath against me, crediting my account with His Son's own righteousness. Oh what amazing grace. I do have stabs of grief of all my family members who have passed refusing to even consider that the family religion could be error. Oh what amazing grace to one such as me. My Lord and my God, Christ the King.
“ Great Sermon! ” A real blessing. Thank you. You brought fresh, new thoughts to me when you were listing the things Martha had forgotten. I had not before thought along those lines. That blessed me also.
“ Great Sermon! ” These ongoing sermons on this topic have been very moving. At one point in this one when you were describing the pure worship in heaven I felt a sense of overwhelmedness and tiredness. Then I realized I was viewing it from my tired, aging, sin body rather than the new, free, sinless, glorified body yet to come. Your God-given, precious sense of wonder and awe of our God in His majesty is contagious and makes my soul soar. Please never stop keeping your face to the ground before Him so we can continue to be blessed by your faithfulness and awe of our God and His majestic Word you expound to us.
“ Great Sermon! ” This is a fabulous, 5 star sermon that has richly blessed me. It is true that I am hearing more and more and more on our culture in connection to Romans 1. I am also greatly blessed by the grace on you of your refreshing sense of wonder and awe of the Almighty and the works of His hands. I bless the Lord for your preaching and ministry to us His church. “ Great Sermon! ” Thank you Dr. McKnight for another rich sermon delivered with passion for our Lord's glory. It gladdens my heart to hear my Lord's vindication in His death. Also the snipets of information I did not know or hadn't thought about are precious. Such things as the tomb and how it was treated after the Lord of glory was laid in it. True, who would lay a mere mortal in there after that. I wonder what was the end for Joseph and Nicodemus? Had not heard that before regarding the hen and egg on the Sabbath. How man can complicate the things of God by foolish zeal. Lastly, I had never picked up on the implication of Nicodemus using the plural "we." Your gifting from God for His church blessed me again. Thank you.
