This is soooo relevant. Who wants to be like Unredeemed sinners, or lust after the perishable? Or have soul attachments which make demands on our flesh? May Christ be formed in the hearts if his people. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. To God be the glory.

Thank you for your timely sermon as identity with something today seems to Be the religion. This has filtered into the churches with transgender being Accepted and other things being more important than ones relationship with the living God. Thank God for His previous son whose blood has accepted US and covered our sinful natures. May God truly bless you as you honor His Word and contend for our saviour- I truly believe Christ return is close.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Thankyou.I am 62 years old and have been saved for 29 years.I sometimes feel that because I am not able to do much for Gods kingdom, am I a good Christian? Growing up I felt unloved by my stepmother, so would try to do what I could to earn love. Sometimes I struggle with my new identity in Christ, thinking I need to do something to make him pleased with me. What is more pleasing to our heavenly father is to trust and obey him and know with all my heart that he loves me because Jesus stood up for me on the cross. Praise God for this.

Thank you for rightly dividing the Word of Truth. You are an encouragement to no small degree. I pray the LORD will keep you close to Himself. I pray the LORD will bless you with strength, physical and spiritual. I pray the LORD will protect you from the evil one. I pray the LORD will protect you from yourself. Brother, I pray for you! Paul Joel 2:32.

Sermon:
Covetousness, The Sin of Our Time
Dr. Stephen Jones

“ Great Sermon! ”
A 'must-hear' sermon from Dr. Stephen Jones. One of the best I have heard on the topic of covetousness. From the time God saved me back in 1986 I have found this evil sin to plague my heart on and off. There is no getting rid of it as it is woven into our depraved hearts and our very being - "for out of the heart proccedeth covetousness" said the Master; and it is the Christian's duty to subdue and rule over it. This was Sodom's sin and it is pretty much the plague of Christians the world over - "Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy." [EK 16:49] Our prayer should be "Incline my heart unto Thy testimonies, and not to covetousness. Turn away mine eyes from beholding vanity; and quicken Thou me in Thy way." [Psalm 119:36,37]

“ Great Sermon! ”
Thank you for your sermon! It was helpful, especially in evaluating a movie ("The Greatest Showman") about P.T. Barnum. Barnum has been lauded for having family-friendly entertainment, and "The Greatest Showman" has been highly recommended by some Christians. Being anxious to find out more about this movie, I watched a trailer and was surprised to see women immodestly dressed and sensual dancing. Your sermon confirmed my conviction that this kind of entertainment has no place in a Christian's life. As a Christian, I want entertainment that will help me focus on the Lord and worship Him in the beauty of holiness (Psalm 29:2). But this is not possible if I'm looking at women in clothing which exposes or draws attention to parts of the body that are sexually stimulating, especially when there is sensual dancing. But that's just one problem I have with the movie. Your sermon along with Robert W. Reed's sermon "Entertainment" helped me to see other problems and be more discerning in my choices for entertainment.
