Great Sermon! This is a most excellent sermon on trials because it is so well-rounded and covers everything one will go through as a Christian in this life. It leaves you with great comfort in the end.
Great Sermon! Other Scripture was compared to this passage, using Scripture to shed light on this subject. Reference to the original language was helpful by explaining the tense of the verbs. He brought out the times (history) when this was written, and his interpretation of the passage was well corroborated by supportive Scripture, and elaboration.
Great Sermon! A good exposition on a very difficult subject. I recall one comment from a devotional I once received It said; "When God says 'I hate divorce' (Mal 2:16), He says so, not with the furious pointed finger of a judge, but with the broken-heartedness of one who has experienced the devastation of betrayal at the hands of his beloved." Please deal very Graciously with those involved. Betrayal at this level is so difficult to come to terms with, let alone recover from.
Great Sermon! Pastor Greg. SO blessed by your exposition of this text, thank you so very much. The Lord has given you such a wonderful gift.

Sadly, we are not really in touch with other christians, due to my many afflictions, and lack of voice, but I reach out to all with my love in service to others via the internet, trusting God will bless my weak efforts. I am concerned that my husband has no fellowship with other brothers and does not use the internet. Please pray for us.
Great Sermon! Wonderful sermon, Pastor Greg. We so needed to be reminded of agape love, even in our most difficult circumstances, when we hardly see a soul. But my husband pointed out that it must be love with truth, and many will show love in the flesh, who have not the spirit of Christ.
The sermon was a great blessing, thank you,and with power of the Holy Spirit.

Great Sermon! Wow! what a great sermon, Pastor, and one which I so needed to be reminded of, that God is using every trial for my good and his glory. Even being disabled for many years, with pain, and with mainly no voice, and little hearing, and having to rely on full-time help. Every single trial is to mould us as God wants us to be, humbled and pliant to be made more like His glorious image.
Thank you Pastor for a great sermon, sure it will be a help to many. I remember years ago, when in hospital, I read a book with a similar message - "The bumps are what you climb on" by Warren Wiersbe.
So we must "count it all joy" for this is all in the purpose and plan of God.
What was most helpful was your statement that often those with the strongest faith, receive the greatest trials, or words to that effect. That was an encouragement.

Great Sermon! This is one of the most encouraging sermons we have ever heard. Thank you Pastor Greg. It was indeed so timely too.
Will be sending it out to others, in the love of Christ.
We know that it is Christ in us, the hope of glory, which God the Father loves.
Great Sermon! Have just listened to this sermon the second time, and still gained much blessing from it. Thank you Pastor Greg. for your wonderful exposition of this passage of scripture. Found it so very encouraging. Also got my husband to hear it. He agreed.

Great Sermon! I believe one way to answer your questions is to refer back to who are the true children of Abraham, who are the Children of the promise? And it is quite obvious it is the Church of Christ, the Body of Christ. Both Jew and Gentile.
Great Sermon! This is a tremendous message from pastor Barkman and truly of God.
. I was glued to every word! Do make sure you hear it.

Yes. It's Tragic but True. We have the Good News but nobody wants it ?!?!? And everyone who calls upon the Name of The Lord will be saved. Only His name has any value in this arena.
