“ Great Sermon! ”
Thankyou for this most glorifying sermon about suffering for the glory of God.How Christians should respond when people ask "why do good people suffer" Whatever happens in life, suffering teaches us to become more like Jesus. We want things our own way in life and this sermon has shaken me up to stop feeling sorry for myself, to accept God's providence in my life with the way things are.I want my life to reflect Jesus in everything I say and do because of his great love and mercy to me.Thankyou Jesus.

“ Great Sermon! ”
A home church without leadership would be Biblical. As you said they have no leaders and I might add that there would be no room for top down institutional corruption of the word of God. I yearnfor the day I can find a small house church fellowship.

“ A must ”
This is the cold hard Biblical facts on suffering delivered by a loving Pastor in a caring way. This sermon is a must for every Christian who wants the truth and nothing but the truth. This sermon could wind up being a classic for centuries to come. This is help on a very deep spiritual level.

“ Excellent, Much Needed ”
At the Gospel-Centered Marriages Conference, Mr. Washer's sermons were among the most vital and needed. Thank you so much for your boldness and humility in teaching the truth which is so rarely found in our culture. Every family needs to hear these principles - the must for Christ-centered lives!

“ A must hear! ”
Thank you, Pastor Scott. This is a necessary and courageous sermon. May many with the FIC take heed, and may many outside the FIC take notice, that men such Scott Brown share our concerns. May such teaching bring us together, especially those holding to the 1689 Baptist Confession.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Steve, when I first heard this from Paul Washer I wondered about that also. I started with a book called "The Attributes of God" by Arthur Pink. I don't want you to think that you can only find out about God from good books...Scripture will teach you that, but good books like this can help in learning that. I took Paul up on his challenge, and my heart was awakened by the truth about God. God bless.

“ Every Church NEEDS To Hear This ”
Of the many excellent messages on SermonAudio there may be at this present time no other message that so greatly needs to be heard and acted upon as this one. And if that takes congregations and pastors humbling themselves before God, seeking His face, and so listening to His Word until they get it and REPENT so be it. And if they need further word to help them grow some godly conviction in their faith this message along with ones like 10 Shekels and a Shirt and Shocking Youth Messages are ones the Holy Spirit can in us as a beginning to the glory of God in our lives. Pastor Baucham, I thank God for this message.

“ Earth-shatteringly good ”
Dr. Baucham once again points the Word of Truth at another "sacred cow" in our so-called Christian world. And the truth is not pretty. It's RIGHT, but it's not pretty. This message needs to be heard by every pastor and "youth leader" in the country. Praise God for raising up such a voice of honest analysis and perception. I'd been peripherally involved in the youth group at one of the churches I attend, and I can say this: "It is even worse than he portrays it." These graduating seniors have no concept of the gospel. This is perpetuated by the youth leader and tolerated by the pastor. Adults who should know better! Pray for our churches, that they may be a light to the lost - of all ages. Sadly, the majority of the adults in the pews are not much better off.

Thank you Mr. Washer fro this message. I have a question though. You say that the way we grow in love toward God is to grow in our understanding of the attributes of God. How is this done? Thank you brother.

“ Thanks for the big 'ol cup of eye opener! ”
It's amazing what you can learn when you actually go back to the foundation of God's word. The world is so ingrained into the church that most of the time we don't even recognize it. Matt 15:8-9
